you know...I've thrown around this idea a lot and It comes down to 2 basic principles:

1. You decide what is important in your life, you aren't living anyone else's, this is the only one you have and you are in control of it. You decide what is fun, sad, good, bad, etc.

2. The only reason to think that you aren't living a meaningful life is that you are either not living up to someone else's standards (whom you must idolize) which (if this is the case) you should look back at #1, or you aren't accomplishing things that you would like to accomplish that would add value to your own life.

Very true. Do what makes you happy. But I can guarantee that many problems come to those with little money in today's world. Also, if most of the world was educated...this would be a better place IMO

I'm a Civil Engineer. I do land development. All those stores, houses, I handle everything besides the actual building that's what Architects do.

To practice engineering in NJ, I need a Professional Engineer's license.

To get that license, I need to take a Engineer In Training or no Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and 4 years of experience.

To get that 4 years of experience, I needed a Bachelor's in Engineering.

To get that Bachelor's I had to go to school for 4 years.

I was paid good as a Security Guard, and I just sat on my ass and had did nothing, I hated it.
