Fixed. :)

I'm just curious as to what most people think the baby will be - not necessarily what you want it to be.

... I think it's just Lex and Lana's with Lex slipping her stuff in her food or something to help her keep the baby without dying.

*shrug*

But the baby being Kon-El would be an interesting, and very slashy, twist... ;) :D

Crap! Deleted the wrong one. I sorta suck at this.

evil, evil, evil!

I say Lex is creating a Krypto baby.

His primary source of food will be Krypto-Formula.:oldrazz:

Another possibility...

Lex took DNA from that blood sample... and did whatever they do to make a clone (click on thumbnail), which was implanted into Lana to incubate. Lex gets an unlimited source of "super" plasma AND traps Lana to boot. Something like this...

Geeze! The evil is creeping way past the corners now...

oooh, maybe it will be born and named kon-el

I'm voting for half Clark DNA (from the blood sample) and half LexZod DNA on the dad's side, and all Lana on the mom's side. A little Kryptonite given to her as "medicine" along the way wouldn't be much of a surprise either.

I think that the baby was affected by the time Lana went into the static universe in the ep ,Static, So how that altered the DNA and when she went in for her next blood tests they found an uncanny manipulation with the blood and since the doctors are on Lex's payroll no doubt, all reports go to him and now he sees' to it that the baby is preserved perfectly.

other: Bizarro baby! :o

I definitely don't think it's their natural child.

Some creepy thing stemming from 33.1 or who knows what.

I know! The baby's gonna be a Krypto-freak who'll age rapidly and then explode! :D

You know, that reminds me: whatever happened to the samples/tests done on that kid? There was that ominous ending to that episode.

Either way, I honestly don't care. I thought the whole baby concept would drag Lana's story arc down and it has (for me.) I have no suggestions or better ideas for how to make her more compelling, but getting pregnant would not be one of them. And if they relate this back to Clark's blood in some way, I'm gonna have an aneurysm. It's a MAJOR bone of contention for me.

<- under the influence of RedK tonight and speaking her mind. LOL

Did anyone notice if the doctor that came to see Lana in Crimson was the same doctor that she saw in Rage?

I'll have to rewatch and check it out.

Hmm. Well that would make sense now, wouldn't it. Good guess, Avid. I'll have to watch the ep again too. Pity... :D

^Has just cracked the DaVinci Code.

i bet you Lex is making her watch Alien all the time. Because with the baby she's gonna have she's gonna need to watch it.

if no one realized yet: My vote goes for evil spawn

I don't really care for this whole idea. The baby thing was OK (even though no one seemed to mind that a 19 year old girl had become pregnant and wonder how it would affect her life) but when they said this is like no other pregnacy I felt like banging my head of the computer desk, hard. I mean is it going to rapidly age and have a fight with Clark, is it Bizarro, there's so many possiblities that couldn't care less about.

Hopefully, it will be an one epsiode deal and it doesn't take up too much air time, and God help me if this doesn't end Lex and Lana's relationship

Okay, so I checked it out. Dr. Rage and Dr. Crimson are indeed one and the same. So this probably means that this doctor was in on whatever it is that's going on, from the beginning.

Speaking of which, should there have been a scene with Lana talking about her pregnancy to Aunt Nell or Henry Small or SOMEONE who cares about her? Where was Aunt Nell at the engagement party? You think she'd manage to get her new boyfriend there. Nell was supposed to be in Paris with Lana for the wedding dress buying spree, so she can't be *that* opposed to the match and she certainly knows there's a wedding.

Oooh, very creepy. He & Lex are probably making her dizzy - either as an excuse to get her in the office for whatever they're doing to her, or as a side effect of whatever they're doing to her. Or the dizziness could be from fetal incompatibility.
