Not necessarily. The general public in terms of reviews and polls thought Bloodrayne sucked a cosmically, fat, goat dong as I think it actually made less box office money than Superman IV. SR had ratings that were pretty high from critics and even geeks on this board and at least limped to the $200 million dollar mark after going head to head with Jack Sparrow's unstoppable arse. Besides, the fact that Uwe Boll is let anywhere near a movie camera that isn't filming a porno is also against the grain of some opinions. It still boggles my mind as to which people went to watch Bloodrayne, though.
