They've been calling me with information actually. I gave them my information with the casting call & waited to hear from them. If you hadn't heard back from them yet, I suggest calling that number at the bottom of the casting call on the Chicago Film Office's website.

For those of you who are paid extras, who does the payroll and how do you get your paychecks?

I believe the company is called CAPS. Each day you work, you fill out a carbon copy form with your information on it. Then about 2 weeks later, you receive a check in the mail.

hey guys I'm working on the 27th too and have to call on sunday to get a final location, where u thinking its gonna be im guessing Navy Pier. Hopefully some good action going on

Yea, gregchick1 mentioned in his report that Navy Pier was on Sunday, makes sense with the plot points we know if you're a prisoner

Sunday at the pier or at the makeshift set just south of there along the lakefront?

I always thought the set being built was for a mass evacuation scene in late August.

I do remember a helicopter will be used this Sunday but around the Loop.

Or am I hearing things wrong?

No that's right, an email sent around said closures on Sunday evening on Randolph and Franklin for low level helicopter passes. So maybe 2 different scenes in same day, long day though

well i dunno about sunday thats the 24th, but the 27th is the date with the people who said they are prisoners, im playing a civilian and I have to bring 3 outfits 1 bussiness attire and 2 casual and a bag like im going somewhere, i thought it might be that scene from the sides where the joker forced civilians to kill of prisoners on the ferry

You're right, just reread his report, mentions the pier on Sunday but not what scene. But there's 2 separate sets so I'm not sure what'll happen

Ah! I read that wrong too. Wish I was part of that dock scene or any other scene coming up for that matter. They all sound fun.

My fitting was today. Prisoner orange, and a heavy, orange jacket with what felt like wool lining. I expect to die on the 27th because it really was that heavy and that hot

The costumer told me that we were going to be on a ferry. So take that for what you will

I was told the same thing about the possible extention to Sat/Sun.
Spiral, do I have to wear a white tee-shirt for my fitting tomorrow? I know white gym shoes and clean underwear.
