I think a 2016 is probably the earliest it'll come out. I'm thinking 2017 unless it's much farther along than the general game is before announcement nowadays, which of course, is possible.

As far as the graphics, I mean, they aren't impressive really, but would anyone really call any of the previous games lookers really? I mean, they didn't look bad or anything, but I never thought the graphics were super impressive honestly.

since they showed the teaser trailer, and were getting more info at E3 2015, i am expecting a Fall/Winter 2015 release or a 2016 release, 2017 is way too far away for a game that just got revealed today.

I wouldn't say that, it's not unheard of at all. Halo 5, for instance, was announced in June 2013 right before E3 similarly to this, if I'm not mistaken, and it's slated for this holiday. Honestly, games being announced and released in the same year are becoming rare, so I'll be surprised if this hits this year. It's not totally out there as a possibility, but I find it pretty unlikely.

yeah, they might announce the release date at E3 2015 and open up preorders to raise the hype for the game.

Yes! It was about time. Hyped for this. Looks great, it's Fallout 4!

About the graphics, yeah, they're very outdated, but I don't really care about that.

I thought by now we would stop calling this gen next gen. At this point in time next gen should mean Ps5/Xbox Two.

I only start calling the current gen current gen when people start talking about PS5s & X2s (next gen). I'm still stuck between gens anyway. t:

Fallout has always been more about the environments than character models.. Plus who knows how far out this game is.. They could easily make it look much better come release. But for now the environment is a total bump up, that's easy to freaking see. The colors are also 10x prettier.

It could look exactly like Fallout 3 and I'd still buy the hell out of it. The next gen systems (and PC, obviously) are going to give us so much more environment than we can imagine.. Can't wait.

for the open world, i hope it is GTA V's Open World x 2 since it is on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

I've never seen an AAA game that looked better on the game's release, it's pretty much the opposite these days.

Again, I don't really care about that. The immersion that this franchises has is enough for me.

i just don't think the graphics are bad.. Maybe character models could be better but again.. Dat environment. May be the prettiest Fallout game I've ever seen.

oh, people have been talking about it man. Just last week there were rumors of sony hiring some r&d peeps for working on Ps5 it something like that.

Once I hear it regularly and it starts gaining some momentum (probably in about 3 years) I'll gradually change my tune but have hardly heard anyone mention it at all. For now will enjoy next gen gaming on current consoles! t:

If Windows 10 lives up to billing I'll be getting a lot of games on both. I have some kind of fetish for playing the same game on different platforms as it is as I love seeing the differences hardware can make.

As awesome as Bethesda is at crafting worlds and atmosphere I wish their gameplay was smoother. I wanna delve into their world with the fluid motions of GTA for third person and Shooting fluidity of Destiny for First person

Well that trailer made my day. I know I'll watch that a few hundred times before it comes out. I love how they made it feel too. I can't wait to find out more about it.

They still can't do human models. But other then that, looks good.

Yeah, human models have never been their strong suit. Looks great though. For some reason have a feeling this will be released this year.

What are Bethesda usually like with closeness of initial announcements to release date? I didn't know the trailer had just come out when I said post 2016.

Id say 2016.. If it's far long in development, and fingers crossed that it is..I suppose Christmas 2015 isn't out of the question.. But.. I suspect March 2016.
