Fallout 4

I still remember the two years ago rumor where Bethesda supposedly showed Fallout 4 at E3 and behind closed doors. You know them, their games take a very long time to be developed, not something like Half Life 3 tho. It's very possible that Fallout 4 was being developed before they got their hands on the next gen consoles.

I doubt a remaster, unless if it's a separate game like AC Rogue, the old consoles will probably get a mediocre port.

I can feel it..

I recall this rumor, but I do believe it was debunked, though.

But yeah, regardless, that is a good point to consider. Could be a situation like MGSV then, certainly a possibility considering. It would still kind of surprise me, to be honest, but thinking of it like this does make it more plausible.

I liked Fallout 3. A lot. Same with Skyrim. But 3 does look like **** today graphically.

I hope they remedy that.

Wouldn't this be designed with the new consoles in mind, since, it's been two years?

It's been two years since they possibly showed it. That doesn't mean it has two years of development so far. They probably started Fallout 4 after Skyrim, or before.

Very likely, I still don't fully believe it myself.

I don't really know how to feel about this, I mean - graphics never were Bethesda's strongest area, and I'm not expecting anything groundbreaking.

Still...

Some of you are acting like it's the end of the world...

Honestly I'd like to see a limited version of Fallout multi-player, like at most 4 people. Just wandering around the wasteland seeing explosions a mile off from a buddy using a Fatman to blow up some raiders while while you see messages that everyone else died because someone didn't realize running in front of a mini nuke going off is a bad idea. :D

^Yup a 4 player co-op would be cool. I'd want it to be set up where you legit have to meet up in the wasteland.. Everyone comes from a different vault on a different part of the map. Would be cool.

Anyway.. Few hours until some form of announcement.. And I also don't think it will be cross gen. I believe that's pretty much dead and f it isn't Arkham Knight will be the first to kill it.

It's Fallout 4 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One

The Fallout 4 website is live, just an hour and a half in advance of the "Please Stand By" countdown timer's expected expiration. The game will be fully revealed at E3 at Bethesda's press conference on Sunday, June 14.

There will be a cinematic trailer coming this morning, as evidenced by the site. We expect that will be live at 10 a.m. Eastern.

Fallout 4 is slated for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

There's crossgen games coming out after Arkham Knight, specifically MGSV, Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero Live. No game or games are going to "kill" the practice, just something that naturally dies off as a new generation continues.

It doesn't need to die of natural causes. It needs to be brutally murdered.. As I hope those games "cross gen" titles are the first ones to go.

Last generation consoles are holding back the true power of this generation's consoles! Now I know how the PC master race feels. :o

The trailer is up in less than 30 minutes, right?

I thought by now we would stop calling this gen next gen. At this point in time next gen should mean Ps5/Xbox Two.

Bethesda will share more details on Fallout 4 during their E3 Showcase on Sunday, June 14th at 7:00 pm PST. All we know for certain right now is that it will be an open-world game.

“We know what this game means to everyone,” said Fallout 4 director, Todd Howard, “The time and technology have allowed us to be more ambitious than ever. We’ve never been more excited about a game, and we can’t wait to share it.”

Original story: Fallout 4 is coming to PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, Bethesda Softworks prematurely announced this morning.

The publisher revealed the game via its official website, which displayed the box art for all three platforms. The site has been taken down for the time being, but will be re-erected later today.

Additionally, a reveal video for Fallout 4 is scheduled to go live at 7 am PST today, and we will update once it is available.

Wow, I'm actually shocked at the low quality graphics here. This looks like a slightly polished PS3 game. Graphics obviously aren't everything, but I'm kinda disappointed on that front here.

I did notice that the graphics don't look great, which is odd for a reveal trailer. They're usually hyper-polished.
The textures on the dog and on the man's blue suit aren't great.

Graphics look ok, but that's it. They definitely don't look great.

But hey, it's Fallout 4. Finally. Fallout ****ing 4.

Makes me happy to have a new fallout, I'm thinking at least this might be a better representation for what ends up coming to Next Gen, I mean they could have done the super-duper High Graphics for this trailer, then played the downgrade at release song and dance that seems to be the Next Gen trend lately.

Graphics look fine. We should be expecting a gameplay demo at E3 2015. For the release date, I won't mid if it comes out in 2016, since Fall 2015 is already packed with Lego Marvel's Avengers, Star Wars Battlefront, Need for Speed, Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed Syndicate, and Fall 2015 will probably get even more packed with even more games when their release dates get announced at E3 2015.
