LOL! I'm sorry, but he's right. When you put Nolan's Batman and Singer's Superman in the same picture, it only makes the Superman suit look even worse. Batman looks like he's ready for a war against crime. Superman looks like he's either ready for a sleepover or a bachellorette party, I haven't made up my mind. When you put the two together, Batman looks like he could beat the crap out of Routh and use his cape to wipe it up. And isn't Superman supposed to be stronger? In light of the passover season, I must say "Oy vhey".

Actually, I think the pic of Batman and Superman together actually made me like the Superman costume more. I set a22div7's wallpaper as my desktop on friday, and each time I look at it it makes me think a movie with both of them could work.

While Routh certainly does not look as badass as Bale, I don't see a problem with it. In fact, I think this is how it should be. I'm not a big fan of Superman when he's professional-wrestler big. He has superstrength, so his muscles don't need to be big in order to be strong. All he needs is to be tall and in good shape. Batman on the other hand is just a "normal" guy. He needs every bit of help he can get to keep his edge over those he's fighting when he goes out at night. He SHOULD be bigger, and his costume SHOULD look more protective than Supe's. I mean when your bulletproof you can afford to wear spandex.

Trying to keep my rambling short and coherent this is my point. Routh as Superman looks fine when compared to Bale as Bats. There suits reflect the necessity of their super-personas. Batman, as a normal human, needs to be scary, badass, and protected to do his job. Superman just needs to be breathing, because he's a bulletproof alien with about a dozen other super abilities.
