Fandango selling tickets!

Just make sure you're able to print out a REAL ticket at a kiosk. For Spidey 3, my girl said she got tickets but it turned out to be the "print out" (that they have to scan as you walk in)..... sounds great in theory but the ticket holders line was zooming past our "Fandango" line!!! We ended up having to sit in the FIRST row of an IMAX screen. I was so pissed.

I've used the service many times before and haven't had that happen (thank goodness). Regardless, I'll still get there early to make sure.

Yeah... I thought it was unfair that the theater spawned off the "Fandango" line and everone else waltzed in. From now on, if I use Fandango I'm making sure I get the REAL ticket printed at a kiosk.

??????

Is Harkins different? I can't just show my credit card to the main desk area?

I had the same problem but it was actually caught when I went to see SM3.
I was camped out in line and the guy came around and said all fandango holders needed to get actual tickets, must be some new ****. :down.

Fandango users ALWAYS had to get tickets, now from easily usable kiosk machines... sounds like your theaters just don't use them right or are only now following accurate procedures. I've never had any problem at all.

The theater I went to use to take just the print out.

Fandango says you can use a home generated print-out. In theory, it saves time... but it doesn't. In fact, if the theater forms two lines, then your print-out line will be MUCH slower. Like you said, using the machine kiosk before you get on line is the safest bet.

I got lucky. The only theater here that was doing the 8:00 show has kiosks. Most of the time, though, the Fandango people go inside to get their tickets and bypass the main line.

Must be because I live in the suburbs? Because hardly anyone but me and a few others use Fandango (and get their fandango tickets out of the kiosk)... so for me the line is FAST- like under a minute fast typically... at most two minutes.

I just use my credit card on fandango, go to the kiosk- hit pick up tickets, slide the credit card through and I'm set. As I said two minutes maximum, and that RARELY happens, it's usually only a minute or less than that.

*bump*

Sounds like some people didn't know they could already buy tickets. When I went to the kiosk last night to pick up my FF2 tickets, the Transformers ones printed out too. *****in.
