I was thinking, When Fantastic four 2 makes it to dvd it would be nice if they included the $1.99 budgeted original film as a bonus disc. I think true fans would enjoy getting a copy of this. I have never seen it but heard it sucks but hey I still would like to see it................

Agreed?

I can't see Roger Corman's Fantastic Four being packaged in with Tim Story's Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer whenever the film ir released on DVD, but personally I would love to see Marvel's low budget/made for TV Marvel films that have yet-to-be-released on DVD get their official release sooner rather than later.

no way that tv film is bad for me it would bring down the DVD package all together, insted like GR they should bring out an extended FF:ROTSS stright away i wanna see more from this pretty cool film!

Agreed.

Frankly, it's still worth a look. And I don't know who they're kidding at this point - we all know it exists. Everybody's buying bootlegs on eBay or whatever. Besides, it's at least as good as the crappy thing we got in 2005.. :woot:

It's far too low in quality to see it clearly.

We all know it exists, there's no reason to hide it. It's just denying people the right to see something they want to see. NO movie should be erased from existence, I don't care what you think of it. I wouldn't even erase Steel or Howard the Duck or Catwoman. They were produced, they're out there, they should not be kept away.

Nope.....it has nothing to do with the new productions. It deserves it's own independant release, it needs and deserves to be seen....but as it's own movie.

Just my opinion.....keep it on the shelf gathering dust.... :cwink:

No.... I have seen parts of this shopped around at a convention and it just looks so cheap. Besides, didn't Avi Arad buy up the original prints and destroy them? Or is that just an urban legend?

Please god, let it be true........:cwink:

IM, That is Marvel's story, but I'd bet they have a copy somewhere of high quality.

As long as fans have copies, they can conceivably be cleaned up.

No, I saw it and it really wasn't that good, it was actually pretty bad.

It's still say it's about on par with the 2005 film. Although the 94 movie actually has a better script.

I think I prefer the Corman 1994 version to this piece of crap.

I had read this as well. I can't remember where I saw this... probably some issue of the now defunct "Comics Scene" magazine (which I'm surprised hasn't made a comeback with the recent comic-movie rage).

But surely someone still has an intact version of the film. Someone needs to get in touch with Oley Sassone (the director) and do a brief interview.

I don't want to see this.

All I want included with the DVD release of ROTSS is the extended cut. I don't want to wait for 2 years to get it this time.

FF:ROTSS EE. I don't care about this movie. I have a bootleg of it anyway.

Not interested since I already have it on DVD.
