fantastic four and planet hulk

Discussion in 'Marvel Comics' started by TECHNOSTARK, Mar 15, 2006.

  1. I wonder what the fall out of Planet Hulk will be on the Fantastic Four. How will Thing feel about what Reed did to the Hulk. I think ben might have respect for the Hulk and especially banner because Ben can't not become normal and Banner can't control the Hulk. How will the fantastic four's friends and allies feel about what Reed did. Especially Rick Jones and She Hulk. How will the heroes feel about what Reed did to the Hulk and the illuminate if they find out. Well this blow the fantastic four apart. But the biggest question is how will the Hulk feel. I see three posibilties.

    1. HULK AND BANNER WILL UNDERSTAND AND FORGIVE REED AND THIS WILL BLOW OVER. HIGHLY UNLIKELY!

    2. HULK WILL COME BACK TO EARTH AND BE PISSED AND KICK THE FANTASTIC FOURS AND ILLUMINATA'S BUTT EITHER BY HIMSELF OR WITH A PLANET WIDE ARMY OF PLANET HULK. MY CHOICE.

3 THE CHOICE I HATE. THIS LEADS THE HULK TOWARD HIS DARK DESNITY AS MASTERO. REMEMBER MASTERO TELLING OUR HULK THAT HIS FRIENDS WERE GOING TO "TAKE IT ALL AWAY" I WONDER IF THIS IS WHAT HE MEANT BY THIS. IF HULK TURNS LIKE THIS THE WORLD WILL HATE REED RICHARDS GUTS.

Option 2 would be great but it'll be option 3 most likely.

    I think there's a FOURTH scenario:
In five years time (by our reckoning) no one will even mention what's going on right now.
Today's Marvels are all about the illusion of change. One way or another, nearly every character and situation gets rolled back to square one. Even death is just a temporary set-back in the Marvel Universe.

Peter Parker's Uncle Ben has stayed dead this whole time without some type of resurrection, but he's the only example I can think of. And since he died in the origin story, I don't see his death as true change.
Aunt May has returned from being "dead" at least twice; Jean Grey's been "dead" now at least twice...Reed Richards stayed "dead" for a little over two years...Colossus was "dead" for a couple of years...Alpha Flight's Guardian didn't stay "dead"...and didn't Thunderbird (who blew up so well in X-Men #95) show up alive at some point? Now, Daredevil's Karen Page has been "dead" about 5 years now...Foggy Nelson has been "dead" for about a month...so Daredevil seems to keep characters the "deadest" I suppose...Um, except for Elektra... Oh, and I noticed the Kingpin chuckling at the end of the new Daredevil; wasn't he supposed to be dead?"

All this nonsense is why I have absolutely zero concern over the supposed "deaths" of two FF members this May.

But back to the Hulk & Reed Richards question... Really, no matter what goes down in the coming months, I guarantee you in five years time, Reed and Bruce will be working together on some device or formula in some story written by somebody we haven't even heard of yet.

May I just suggest calling option 3 turning into Maestro not Mastero

And I would like option 2 but doubt it will happen; I think it will be a version of option 1 which will give a convoluted way of bringing Hulk back into the fold.

Somebody's got to stop him...it's not like the Hulk is gonna come back and pay back everyone and things go back to normal. My comment about Mjolnir and Ben was a joke but still, someone's got to stop him.

I guess we will find out next issue, if SS can't stop him, Thor sure as hell can't.

I'd love to see Hulk start going to that really dark/Maestro area of his psyche (maybe grow a beard? lol). But eventually redeem himself somehow. I here alot of people talking about the return of Onslaught, any reason to that?

Hulk's gonna come back even tougher, and a smarter fighter. I can see him gunning straight for Reed with Ben attempting to step in only to get the biggest beat down imaginable. It'd be cool to see a truly great Thing vs Hulk battle again.

The scenario of Hulk bringing back an army I can see happening. Wage war on everyone, the Inhumans, the X-Men (Xavier was involved with the decision, correct?). All in all I'm lookin forward to Hulk's return to Earth, even as long off as it is...

The solicits for the Giant-Sizer say that the untold tale of Hulk's battle with the Champions(Hercules was on the team)plant seeds for post-Planet Hulk.

That would be awesome. But to get back on topic sort of, I think option 2 would be the most fun to read.
