I quess I understand the complains but at the same time the fast and furious movies were not just about street racing. Th main story arch as always been about Brian being a cop who gets caught up in the world of street racing. And his dilemma about his duty to his job or his new friends and love interest.

Those people have the right tp complain, seeing that's what the films are about. How would you feel having a superhero film do away with the heroics. Don't even try to say "that's different" because it's not. Did you ever think if they can't make the racing 'original, and fresh' then maybe, just maybe it's time to call it quits on the franchise.

Perhaps the Original was mainly about racing,But even the ending to the first movie showed that sequels have potential to go in a different direction and they have proven that!,It's totally different than taking heroics from super hero movies cause racing and the main concept of a super hero is just different beasts and people have accepted changes within this franchise than anyone would accept seeing Batman/Spidey or someone being so non-hero and go into whole different direction off the material.

Why should they have ended the franchise before cause of this when obviously it's still successful and even more than before!,Just cause YOU don't agree with the new heist direction??

Well, it's not like taking 'all the heroics' out of a superhero film is it? He said there were still races in the film, just not as many. So, it would be more like a superhero film with less action scenes in it, and more of a focus on character drama, and there have been good examples of that , Unbreakable being one.
uhhh....No he didn't

Question

Can someone please give me a Breakdown of how Tokyo Drift fits into the series?

Is it supposed to be the final edition as "Han" passed?

Thank you in advance :yay:

Well I am lol

Can you give example of this terrible acting that makes beiber look emmy worthy? Cuz I just can't wrap my head around it....did we watch the same film? lol

I just saw this. F***ing awesome. So sick. So great to have Tyrese and the rest back. The hand to hand scenes were great

the thing between Dom and the officer chick was lame and I wish the Rock was in it more. I hope they bring back all of them for the 6th one

EDIT: Forgot about post credit scene :cmad:

Its supposed to be the final film.....Fasr and Furious and Fast Five take place before drift

It goes:
The Fast and Furious
2 Fast 2 Furious
Los Bandoleros
Fast and Furious
Fast Five
Tokyo Drift

Probably my fav of the series...

Although, anyone else find the end credits scene to be a tad unnecessary?

I mean, really?

It's called a 'figure of speech'. If someone says that they are 'starving', they do not mean that they are in fact dying of hunger, but that they are very hungry.

I keep hearing how awesome this movie is and I just read an article about how the series is shifting focus from street racing to heist films with lots of cars chases. Since I love heist films with lots of cars chases, I've decided this series is worth a second shot (I've only seen, and was unimpressed by, but still own an unopened copy of, the first one). Gonna hit up the video store tomorrow and get the rest and have a marathon. The one set in Tokyo is the only one I really have doubts about since I like Vin Diesel pretty well.

Well since Tokyo Drift is chronologically the last film in the series...you can hold off on it.

They really are making a shift in the genre of this series. Racing was a really minor point in this one.

It goes:
The Fast and Furious
2 Fast 2 Furious
Los Bandoleros
Fast and Furious
Fast Five
Tokyo Drift
Everyone alway's forgets about the prelude to 2fast. This is were im scarred the story will be messed up.

WTF is Los Bandoleros?

This is the way action movies should be. Real cars. Real stunts. No CGI.

isn't that only a short about how brian went on the run to miami? how does that mess up the story?

Uhh I wouldn't really consider it as part of the series more like the intro to 2...there's is no dialogue in it and pretty short compared to Los Bandoleros

WTF is Los Bandoleros?
Short film directed by Vin that's a prequel to Fast and Furious....Its on youtube check it out its awesome:up:

Minka Kelly is in it. That's good enough for me. :woot:

I haven't seen the film yet but read the spoilers. . A lot pf people here seem excited about it (end credit scene) but I don't get it. It's better to stick with certain things
