I am sad to learn the Paul Walker died, I was hoping it was some stupid hoax but was bummed when legit sources such as Variety confirmed his death. I know his family, friends and the entire cast and crew of the Fast and Furious movies are shocked and heart broken right now. Don't know how this will effect Fast 7 but I am pretty sure it will be the last now with the tragic turn of events as Paul was saying it was rumored that there was a Fast 8-10 planned.

He was a passenger in a friend's car, in which both lost their lives. We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. I think it would be tasteless to have him killed in the movie now. But how else do you address it?

I think it would be incredibly tasteless too, and an insult to his memory. I think it also depends on whether he had already shot all or most of his scenes. If that's the case, I would not change a thing.

But if a portion of his scenes aren't done -- then production will have to shut down and figure out where to go from there. I feel bad for the whole cast and crew having to go through this, especially Wan and Diesel.

I know it doesnt seem like it in Fast 6 (and kinda Fast Five) but Brian is the 2nd lead. I'd be surprised if he's not integral

It just wouldn't feel the same. Brian was the token white dude on the team, but he knew how to hold his own as like second in command. That was what made it work.
