Did they film any scenes with Walker so far?

They were deep into filming

I just find this news so sad and my sister died in a car accident so this is bringing up those feelings again...

Will Vin even want to do the movies without Walker?

I can't find the link now, because of all the articles relating to his unfortunate death, but an hour ago when we all thought it was fake, I read an interview from Walker... In which he said that he and Vin aren't actually great friends. They respect each other, but ultimately, they're just very different people.

I don't know what that will mean for the franchise, just thought I'd put it out there.

My sincerest condolences to his family, friends and especially his child. RIP.

Please guys remember to drive safely.

For those asking, I recall reading that they where filming until January.

I doubt the franchise will end that quickly. Let's not forget about Cory Monteith and how the folks working on Glee were able to bounce back after his abrupt death.

I'd say end it with 7 and that's that.

They've been filming since early September.

But when things like this happen, it puts a new perspective on working relationships and friendships.

This film will have the Heath Ledger effect, Fast 7 is gonna be a huge hit and Universal isn't going to miss that chance, they run a business. Sad but true.

Paul did a lot of charity work. Not only this one, but he flew to Haiti personally to help the needy when that country took a hit.

Jason Statham's addition also secured Universal a heck of a lot more money too.

I am pretty sure Vin is done with the Fast series after this tragic event. Him and Paul were close friends on screen and off screen. I would also say most of the other cast members would be done with the series now as well such as the actresses that plays Mia.

I still think Vin has a heart, even if they weren't close friends he's gonna care that Walker died.

If the filming was meant to continue until January it's going to be very difficult to complete assuming Walker was meant to be there for a large part of it.

That is the big question. From what I understand they were both great mates.

Not really.

****, wow. Well in that case, they could incorporate a character death into the script and then reshoots and script rewrites will most likely take place and the film would be released later then. This would probably be the last though, unless the shift goes towards the kid from Tokyo Drift.

I like the idea of them going into hiding or something like that instead of killing him off.

It would be out of character for Brian to just go into hiding. Not sure how to write him out without being insensitive. It's a tough call.

Wow, what a tragedy. It truly shows you how sudden and out of left field death can be. Tomorrow isn't promised. The eerie thing is that a few hours ago, I finally got to watch that leaked sneak peek of Fast 7 showing Han's funeral.

Roman: Promise me, Brian. No more funerals.
Brian: Just one more...his.

R.I.P. Paul Walker.

If Brian dies on screen then the whole cast can honor him too...It may have more of an effect if he died from reckless driving in the plot

Not really. Having a child changes people and puts things in perspective. Brian's number one concern would be his wife and child and if Shaw is as crazy as he seems to be I could buy Brian and Mia running and hiding. Its actually the most logical thing. Much more logical than a new father going on a revenge mission which gets him killed and leaves his wife and child husband and fatherless.

Oh, wow. :csad:

And with death, things can instantly change on how you view certain people.
