I wonder if Universal will won't to keep their name on a franchise promoting fast dangerous cars and driving when a fast car and dangerous driving killed one of the stars?
It's really hard to promote it in another way.
What I'm asking is does anyone else think Universal might sell the franchise to another studio after film 7. It could be a PR problem for Universal if they keep promoting these films.
Wouldn't every studio have the same concern though? Plus has it even been confirmed that dangerous driving as opposed to vehicle malfunction was the cause of the accident?
