It's claimed that out of the 50s rock & roll singers, Fats Domino is second to Elvis when it comes to the number of hit songs at the charts. How is that possible? Was Domino such a popular performer, more so than Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry and Little Richard?

How do one define a "hit song"? I wouldn't call it a hit just because the single was among the 100 best selling ones at one point. But I guess some people do.
Then let's praise Fats Domino as the second biggest rock & roll singer of all time :)
