I didn't know where to post this rather than here. I don't want to limit it to Spec Spidey (although I'm pretty sure a majority of mine will come from that show). So in all of the years in Spider-Man animation, what were your favorite moments from any of the animated cartoons? This doesn't have to be specifically to the character of Spider-Man in general, just you favorite moments from any of his cartoons (like say, a Sinister Six fight or Kingpin doing something, or even some of banter from Spidey's amazing friends) Since things are slow from news with the ultimate show (for me atleast) lets reflect on our favorite moments in Spidey's animated history.
As for mine
Norman's unmasking in the TSSM episode "Final Curtain" was one of my favorites. Even though it was expected (as Gobby's actions didn't make all that much sense for Harry...even as a Globulin Green druggie), it was done exceedingly well. Even though I love the whole episode this scene stands out to me...special mention to the scene with Norman twisting Harry's leg to simply get out of jail time.
Another Goblin themed moment actually comes from Spider-Man '94. It's in the episode "Turning Point". Censored as it may be, they tried to adapt the Gwen Stacy story and did it pretty well...time dilation acceleration and Madame Web aside. Even though once again I enjoyed the whole episode, the scene where Norman is at the table just practically telling Peter he knew his secret in a discrete way is my topper for that episode.
Spidey's first encounter with the Big Man of Crime in Spectacular's episode "The Invisible Hand" was also one of my favorites. This scene lets Spidey know that his crime fighting is in a way upping the ante and he's learning that his existance is pretty much the exact reason why these supervillains are starting to show up (even though the big guns like Gobby and Ock would have happened eventually with or without Spidey). Oh Plus the way Tombstone owned Spidey and taught him "the facts of life".
I'll stop for now (as I wanted to get to a part of Shear Strength and a [something from Goblin War [didn't want to bulk up my post with Goblin stuff]). What are you favorite moments in Spidey's animated history, the can be epic, so bad that it's laughable, genuinely funny, or even something you thought was cool. Let's hear (read) it!
