Well not techinally its downfall was more to do with kids wb going and the marvel disney merge then the reboot.

it could have always gone to cartoon network or Nick. If it went to Disney, it's because they offered the most for it. Offer the most for something and then kill it? Only makes sense if it was an intentional, preemptive move from the start.

Sure it could have gone to other networks. I was just pointing out the timing of the show airing on wb with its original blocks going and then disney/marvel merge and the months wait to see where season two would air in the states is what killed it more then the upcoming reboot movie.

Sadly, this seems to be the most likely scenario, given how little publicity was given to Season Two when it came to Disney XD, plus waiting until the season was available on youtube.

I'm not so sure. I would be, had they not IMMEDIATELY gone to work on "Ultimate"; we already had a modernized cartoon with Spidey in a high school setting. Why scrap it and do ANOTHER one?

Well who knows why they wanted to do anothee hs setting toon. But remember tssm and all in it are sony made things. The next show is strickly marvel made. So different control and all that.

friday is going to be bittersweet.

the young justice animated pemieres and it will be great to see greg wiseman knocking it out of the park for DC but it will be sad that he isn't knocking it out of the park for marvel

Well maybe he will workk for marvel again in the future. Like do another guest spot in writing a comic. Or maybe even write an episode for any future shows. Its all possible. Heck look for usm we got that dc guy doing marvel.
