There are now more Super Hero movies out and coming out than you shake a stick at. (I've never understood that expression.) Some good, some bad, but many with some very memorable moments.

Here is where you have the opportunity to let us know which movie holds your favorite line. It can be a one liner or a whole conversation.

I'll start:

Movie: X-Men (2000)

Storm: (After blowing Toad out of a building with a wind gust.) 'Do you know what happens to a toad that gets struck by lightning?'
(Pause)
'The same thing that happens to everything else'
(A bolt of lightning decisively ends Toad)

Every line by J Jonah Jameson in the Spider-Man films.

It's a job to pick a favourite line but the exchange between Batman and Jim Gordon at the end of Batman Begins is my favourite dialogue.

Yeah, from Superman:TM.

I also like this piece of dialog from TDK.

Lucius Fox: Let me get this straight. You think that your client, one of the wealthiest, most powerful men in the world, is secretly a vigilante who spends his nights beating criminals to a pulp with his bare hands; and your plan, is to *blackmail* this person?

*awkward pause*
Lucius Fox: Good luck."

Appreciate they are not just 'lines', and pieces of dialogue but Oldman's 3 ending dialogues across Begins / TDK / Rises but for one line exchange only....

From Begins....

'I never said thank you'

'And you'll never have too'

Equates a relationship between two men and a city like images and actions could spend an eternity attempting to put across.

I was crying anyway at this stage when I saw it first time in the cinema but this end sequence took me emotionally to a place where I knew I'd just seen Batman how I'd wanted to always see him done.

Superman and Lois before meeting Zod….

'Thank you for believing in me' - Superman

'In didn't do much difference in the end' - Lois

'It did to me' - Superman

*awkward pause*

Probably my favorite line in superhero films as well.

Among others:

"Say, Jim, WHOOOO! That's a bad out-fit!"

"General...would you care to step outside?"

"I don't want to kill anyone. I don't like bullies. I don't care where they're from."

"A hero can be anyone. Even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a young boy's shoulders to let him know that the world hadn't ended."

"You should have aimed for the head."

“No matter how bad things get, something good is out there, just over the horizon.”

- Green Lantern

Wow. Didn't think I'd see a Green Lantern line pop up in this thread. Anyway...

"They can be a great people, Kal-El, they wish to be. They only lack the light to show the way. For this reason above all, their capacity for good, I have sent them you... my only son."

- Jor-El, Superman (1978)

"Look, sometimes I don't know what to think of all this. It's just something I have to do."

"But why?"

"Because nobody else can."

- Bruce and Vicki, Batman (1989)

What's that one from?
Honestly don't remember. One of the Avengers movies. Captain America says it.

This line was talked about on the commentary, a lot of people don't like it, lol. It was suggested "It croaks" wouldve been a better follow--up.

S.H.I.E.L.D Agent Klein from The Winter Soldier:
"I'm not going to launch those ships, Captain's orders"

"It's ok miss, I've got you."

"You got me? Who got you?"

Evacuate the city! Engage all defenses! And get this man a shield! [points at Steve Rogers]
