The cross turning into an X.![]()
Laura: ...there's no living with a killing. There's no going back from one. Right or wrong, it's a brand. A brand sticks. There's no going back. Now, you run on home to your mother and tell her … tell her everything’s alright. There aren’t any more guns in the valley....
Turns cross into an X
One little subtle moment I liked was when at that family's house when Logan carried Professor X into the bed. He saw they had a tv so he grabs the remote and says something like "They got TV u want TV?". Having elderly family with health problems I could relate to that. Wanting to make sure they're as comfortable as possible.
Seeing Stewart as Xavier for so long but also as Picard, an actor who has been a presence in my life for so long, in those situations... That hit so hard because it is a real situation for so many. They hit all the right notes, bitter sweet, tragic and funny.
Damn this was a really good flick.
Old Man Charles with his no filter motor mouth is one of my favorite aspects of the film.
Anyone with an older relative can relate.

I remember doing that for my grandparents a couple of years ago. This movie nailed the real, down-to-earth human moments.
Same, also the moment Logan tells Charles in the car he wants to see the medication gone and Charles sticks his tongue out and goes 'aaaarrrrgggghhhh.' My grand dad used to do that. Stuff like that really hit home for me.

During the Limo chase, did Laura really suck a bullet from her arm and spit it out? I was not sure what I saw.
My aunt was in a wheelchair. She was able to get to bathroom herself, but watching Logan getting Xavier in and out of the car reminded me of how my dad used to help her the same way. I think my dad noticed it too, when Logan was put the chair in the trunk of the limo.
My dad also loved the part where Logan was beating up the truck. He doesn’t have a violent temper or anything, but I think he sympathized with the frustration. He was laughing and saying, “My hero!” during that scene.![]()

Yep, she did, and it was awesome. I also loved how she covered Charles in the back seat with her body to protect him from gunfire.
