The Dark Knight Rises Favorite quotes from the film (SPOILERS)

I loved that line. Because it's so comic book-y, heroic and Batman like. You now know Batman has come back for real and he is going to do what he set out to do.

That, and when Bane throws Batman up the steps and walks towards him, with Batman looking down, scowling. "Bring it on."

Chills.

Oh and "Tell me where the trigger is. THEN, you have my permission to die"

I was all like HAHA YES! :awesome:

Seriously, Batman has never been more badass when he comes back to Gotham.

And when he ****ing high kicked Bane through the glass doors. Walked through in a fury, and took out that gunman, smacking him with the machine gun, taking him out. And still walking. :awesome:

"WHERE IS THE TRIGGER??!! WHERE IS IT? *punches Bane's mask* YOU COULDN'T HAVE GIVEN IT TO AN ORIGINATRY CITIZEN! *Punches Bane's mask again* WHERE IS THE TRIGGER??!!"

Just so many :awesome:'s in like five minutes.

That's pretty much my reaction throughout that whole scene (starting from Bats looking all pissed and badass waiting at the stairs all the way to him beating up a whimpering Bane) -> :awesome: :awesome: :awesome:

I love Bane's "Crashing this plane. WITH NO SURIVIVORS!"

"It means losing someone you have cared for since I first heard his cries echo through this house." One of my favorite lines from the trilogy... I was almost in tears.

I liked the doctor's line that's said to bruce.

"Then make the climb"
"How?"
"As the child did, without rope. Then fear will find you again"

“Harvey Dent_This man has been given to you as the shining example of justice! You have been supplied with a false idol, to stop you from tearing down this corrupt city! Let me tell you the truth about Harvey Dent from the words of Gotham’s police commissioner, James Gordon. “The Batman didn’t murder Harvey Dent, he saved my boy, then took the blame for Harvey’s appalling crimes so I could, to my shame, build a lie around this fallen idol. I praised the madman who tried to murder my own child, but I can no longer with my lie. It is time to trust the people of Gotham with the truth, and it is time for me to resign.” And do you accept this man’s resignation! Do you accept the resignation of all these liars! Of all the corrupt!”- Bane

Anyone else think it was great just before this when he turns up;

Bane - "Speak of the Devil and he shall appear"?

I thought that line was fantastic and very badass.

Doctor: "You think not fearing death makes you strong. It makes you weak. How does one become faster than possible. Stronger than possible. Fight harder than possible, without the most powerful impulse: the fear of death."

Bruce: "I do fear death. I fear dying in here, while my city burns with no one to save it."

Doctor: "Then make the jump. You must make the jump as the child did. Without the rope. THEN... Fear will find you again." .

I bolded the part you missed but I think I'm a bit off, there was definitely a line like that in there.

Best exchange in the trilogy for me. So unbelievably powerful.

Tate: You see it's the slow knife that takes it time, the knife that waits years without forgetting that slips quietly in between the bones and cuts deepest. [Pushes trigger]
Batman: I guess that knife was too slow...

anyone know what Bane says when he is talking to Bruce in the prison, something about shipwrecked sailors and salt water?

only line I haven't made out.

"I will not torture your body....(long pause) but your soul"

Actually I think it goes:

Bruce- Torture?

Bane- Yes, but not of your body. But your soul.

"It means losing someone you have cared for since I first heard his cries echo through this house." One of my favorite lines from the trilogy... I was almost in tears.

I was literally in tears. Caine and Bale nailed that scene

Every Bane line is ****ing great :funny:

Like shipwrecked men turning to seawater, from uncontrollable thirst.

I've noticed something about this thread, nearly 70% of it belongs to Hardy's Bane. :hehe:

Seriously, similar to Ra's and The Joker, Bane's dialogue is so damn memorable and badass.

"Ahh so you think the darkness is your alley? You merely adopted the dark. I was born in it; molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was a man, and by then, IT WAS ONLY BLINDING. THAT'S WHY THE SHADOWS BETRAY YOU. THEY BELONG TO ME."

While the majority of Bane's dialogue in the first fight was awesome, this was my favorite.

"Nothing like a little air superiority"

Kyle: He's behind you.

Mercenary: Who?

Batman: ME!

Sewer fight complete dialogue

Batman: You made a serious mistake.

Bane: Not as serious as yours, I fear

Batman: Bane!

Bane: Lets not stand on ceremony here, Mr. Wayne. peace has cost you your strength, victory has defeated you. Theatrically and deception are powerful agents to the uninitiated, but we are initiated, aren't we Bruce? Members of the League Of Shadows! And you betrayed us.

Batman: Yes and you were excommunicated by a gang of psychopaths.

Bane: I am the League Of Shadows, I am here to fulfill Ra's Al Ghul's destiny! You fight like a younger man with nothing held back, admirable but mistaken.

Oh you think darkness is your ally. You merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn’t see the light until I was already a man. By then, it was nothing to me but blinding! The shadows betray you because they belong to me!

I will show you where I have made my home while preparing to bring justice then I will break you. Your precious armory great fully accepted we will need it.

Ah Yes I was wondering what would break first your spirit or your body!

I also grinned at Fox's line to Miranda about keeping hands inside the vehicle at all times, or something like that, when going underground to see the reactor. :funny:
