The Dark Knight Rises Favorite quotes from the film (SPOILERS)

Batman: Where's THE TRIGGER ? Where is it. You wouldn't trust it in the hands of an ordinary citizen. WHERE IS IT.

When I have the detonator then you'll have my permission to die.

"Search him. Then I will kill you."
"Oops. I didn't know it was supposed to be uncrackable."
"...then I will break you."
"I was wondering what would break first. Your spirit...or your body."
"Do those make it hard to walk?" "I don't know...do they?"
"Let's not stand on ceremony here. Mr. Wayne."
"Now it's everybody's home."

Bruce Wayne: Why didn't you just... kill me?
Bane: You don't fear death... You welcome it. Your punishment must be more severe.
Bruce Wayne: Torture?
Bane: Yes. But not of your body... Of your soul.
Bruce Wayne: Where am I?
Bane: Home, where I learned the truth about despair, as will you. There's a reason why this prison is the worst hell on earth... Hope. Every man who has ventured here over the centuries has looked up to the light and imagined climbing to freedom. So easy... So simple... Many have died trying. I learned here that there can be no true despair without hope. So, as I terrorize Gotham, I will feed its people hope to poison their souls. I will let them believe they can survive so that you can watch them clamoring over each other to "stay in the sun." You can watch me torture an entire city and when you have truly understood the depth of your failure, we will fulfill Ra's al Ghul's destiny... We will destroy Gotham and then, when it is done and Gotham is ashes, then you have my permission to die.

FOX: Works fine, except for the auto-pilot. Takes a better mind than mine to fix it.
BRUCE: Better mind?
FOX: Well, I was trying to be modest. A less-busy mind. Yours.

Reminds me of this --

THOMAS: I leave the running of our company to much better men.
BRUCE: Better?
THOMAS: Well, more interested men.

Batman: Where's THE TRIGGER ? Where is it. You wouldn't trust it in the hands of an ordinary citizen. WHERE IS IT.

When I have the detonator then you'll have my permission to die.

His voice in that scene reminded me of the Flass interrogation in BB.

I wish he took out 2 or 3 of the "Where is it" lines.

Alfred: "If you're seriously considering going back out there, you should hear the rumors surrounding Bane. There is a prison in a more ancient part of the world, a pit, where men are thrown to suffer and die. But sometimes, a man rises from the darkness. Sometimes, the pit sends something back."

I have two of them... first one is

"Crashing this plane... with NO SURVIVORS!"

and the second is

"You fight like a younger man, with nothing held back. Admirable… but mistaken. Ahhh you think darkness is your ally? But you merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn’t see the light until I was already a man, and by then it was nothing to me but blinding. The shadows betray you because they belong to me."

I love it when Bruce just lies there crying, powerless.

The full Truth about Harvey Dent speech, as spoken by Bane in the script.

“The truth about Harvey Dent is simple in only one regard - it has been hidden for too long. After his devastating injuries, Harvey’s mind has recovered no better than his mutilated face. He was a broken, dangerous man, not the crusader for justice that I, James Gordon, have portrayed him to be for the last eight years. Harvey’s rage was indiscriminate. Psychopatic. He held my family at gunpoint, then fell to his death in the struggle over my son’s life. The Batman did not murder Harvey Dent - he saved my boy. Then took the blame for Harvey’s appalling crimes, so that I could, to my shame, build a lie around this fallen idol. I praised the madman who tried to murder my own child. The things we did in Harvey’s name brought desperately needed security to our streets… But I can no longer live with my lie. It is time to trust the people of Gotham with the truth, and it is time for me to resign.”

"Speak of the devil, and he shall appear."

"There's a reason why this prison is the worst hell on earth... hope. Every man who has rotted here over the centuries has looked up to the light and imagined climbing to freedom. So easy... so simple. And like shipwrecked men turning to seawater from uncontrollable thirst... many have died trying. I learned here that there can be no true despair without hope. So, as I terrorize Gotham, I will feed its people hope to poison their souls. I will let them believe that they can survive, so that you can watch them clamoring over each other... to stay... in the sun. You can watch me torture an entire city, and then when you have truly understood the depth of your failure, we will fullfill Ra's al Ghul's destiny... we will destroy Gotham. And then, when it is done, and Gotham is... ashes... then you have my permission to die."

The prison scenes are now becoming my favourite bits of the film...

I loved the whole exchange been Bruce Wayne and Selina at the Charity dinner where they talk in close up and then she kisses him goodbye (camera just revolving round them with great melody music in the background).

The other great bit is when he gets out of the pit with all the prisoners chanting that chant and the Doctor wills him to do it, spine tingling stuff, when he gets out you feel like it's game on.

I agree the pit was fantastic and for him to get free when all the odds were stacked against him was literally uplifting.

"I swear to God-"

"SWEAR TO ME!!!"

Just made Batman something to be afraid of to his enemies, best use of the Bat-voice as well for me.

This. One of the best pieces of writing in the whole trilogy!

When did they say this?

A couple of my favorites are (all Bane)...

Speak of the devil and he shall appear.
Crashing this plane, with no survivors (the look in his eyes when he says this!) And I prefer the original prologue version.
Ohhhh you think darkness is your ally? You merely adopted the dark, I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but blinding! The shadows betray you, because they belong to me.

Woops yeah its from Begins. Should have read the thread title a little closer, thought it was from the entire trilogy.

One line that I just remembered that I liked a lot was when Batman opens the container with the Batpod in it and Catwoman playfully says "You shouldn't have". I love the delivery of that line.
