Didn't see any book forum so started this thread....
There's all the obvious such as Dragonlance, Hitchhiker's, etc.... one of my all time favorites though has got to be Myth series by Aspirin... I'm really starting this thread for new books I haven't read yet :)

Parable of the Sower/Parable of the Talents/Earthseed

Cirque Du Freak

The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant by Stephan R. Donaldson

IMO the best ever:up:

The books consist of:

1st series

Lord Foul's Bane
The Illearth War
The Power that Perserves

2nd series

The Wounded Land
The One Tree
White Gold Wielder

3rd and last series

The Runes of the Earth
Fatal Revenant (coming soon)
Shall Pass Utterly (still in planning)
The Last Dark (still in planning)

I'll be the first nerd to say Harry Potter.

I'l also go old school with Animorphs. Y'all remember.

The Riftwar/Serpentwar/Midkemia in general Sagas and just starting the Wheel of Time series now.

I like a lot of different series....so here's a list of some;

Doc Savage
Tarzan
The Pellucidar series
John Carter of Mars
Dragonriders of Pern
The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant
John Norman's "Gor" series

There are others, but that's enough for right now.

The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury. A brilliant book...still my favorite sci-fi endeavor done by any author. Except for Douglas Adams and his Hitchiker's Trilogy, of course.:D

The trilogy that isn't quite a trilogy.:)

it's a trilogy with an extended epilog.

Sphere, Jurassic Park, Andromeda Strain by Crichton

after that and a bunch more mediocre books I pretty much stopped reading these types of books.

The Wheel Of Time Series by Robert Jordan...I love em, but I wish he'd just finish it!!

I agree. Although I've only read the first series.

Dragonlance Chronicles - Weis & Hickman
The Dark Elf Trilogy - R.A. Salvatore
The Hunter's Blade - R.A. Salvatore
The Time Master Trilogy - Louise Cooper
Indigo Trilogy - Louise Cooper
The Chronicles of Prydain - Lloyd Alexander
Dune Series - Frank Herbert
Santiago: A Myth of the Far Future - Mike Resnick

I am such a geek and there are too many for me to list and I'm lazy right now so I'll stop here.

He's awesome
Timeline is one of my favorites.

State of Fear kind of sucked.

Couldn't agree more.... the last few have had some really good moments but overall I feel like they're the buildup to a final conclusion that is always one book away.... love the series, but will love to see it conclude also:O

Great Kids series he had unbreakable bones like a certain someone.

It was a bit like EE Doc Smiths Lord Tedric for a younger audience. You must be in your late 30's?

Well then.

Here is my personal Book Database on my own website that lists the books I have and have read, my ranking (10 stars being highest, and a few thoughts on each book.

Dragonlance books are the fantasy books I am currently reading. The legend series.
