Favorite Thor Portrayal/Performance

Was there really a different in Thor 1, TDW, Avengers, and AOU though?

There wasn't much of a difference if any.

Thor was more serious than he was in those other films. Age of Ultron was close though. He was more brutish and righteous in his personality.

Ragnarok is my favorite MCU film, but in terms of his character, Thor 1 for me.

Thor was EASILY the most serious in Avengers, he joked around and had much more playful banter in Thor 1.

Thor 1 was actually one of the least serious Thor's, he was more serious in TDW and probably even AOU. I think you are remembering Thor 1 a little revisionist-y.

Thor 1 by far. Chris Hemsworth's performance was good in Ragnarok but he almost felt like a different character.

I feel the same way.

I thought he was great in all of them. I can't choose. And I love Ragnarok but I also have my issues with it. Hemsworth's performance in Ragnarok is probably his best performance but Thor 1 is probably my favorite.

The ideal movie Thor would be the Ragnarok characterization with the TDW/AOU costume.
