Action-Adventure Apple TV's 'Hijack' starring Idris Elba

I thought there was a thread for this already, but searched and couldn't find it. Anyone else watching this?? Three episodes in, and despite a few glaring plot holes, it's caught my attention. I haven't see a role yet that Elba isn't magnificent in.

Note: I wasn't sure whether to categorize this as DRAMA or MYSTERY/THRILLER...

I enjoyed the 1st season; the format reminded me very much of '24' but I did not think it needed a 2nd season.

According to the Apple TV app, Season 2 of Hijack will premiere globally on Tuesday, January 14, 2026. Filming wrapped earlier this year in February, meaning the series has been deep in post-production ever since.
