The Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus appreciation thread

How about when he decides to rebuild: "Yeeeeees". Great moment. :)

No contest, Alfred Molina is a talented actor and one of the only skilled members of the Spider-Man cast. We need more of actors like him in this franchise.

I just wanted to say that I can never get enough of Molina as Ock. I absoluotely loved his speech to Peter about love.

This year for Halloween I'm making a Doc Ock costume. It'll be a mix of Molina Ock and comic Ock. I'm basically going to have the trenchcoats that Molina has, alongside with old-school-styled tentacles. :)

^^ Aweosme! Are you going to post pictures of it in the Doc Ock's Lair thread? :yay:

I thought Molina was perfectas Doc Ock, he just made Doc Ock real.

I thought Molina's performance was fantastic. Definitely one of the better supervillains we've had on film so far.

Here's another one I took, aiming for the teaser poster look (minus the arms of course).

1 thing I do wish is that they'd put more emphasis on Ock holding Spidey responsible for everything that went wrong.

Ughhhhh NO!!! That would have been so cliche and stupid. That is one thing I am eternally greatful for, that Sam didn't make Ock blame Spider-Man for his own mistakes.

Leave that to sad losers like Eddie Brock.

He did blame Spidey, but this was downplayed.
"I couldn't have miscalculated; it was working, wasn't it?"
If he didn't miscalculate, then whose fault was it?
"You've stuck your webs in my business for the last time!"
Indicating that Spidey's interference had already been a problem.
Now on the game it was all over the place. But never would I want it at the Venom degree; bad enough he was referring to himself in the plural.

Nobody's fault. He didn't blame anyone. If he did, he would have said so, or at least said it to Spidey when he saw him.

He didn't blame anyone, thankfully.

Yeah, when Spidey accosted him in the bank.

"You're getting on my nerves"

^^ Spidey is a problem to Doc Ock, but he's so tied up with making his experiment a success he loses sight of who's fault this really is.
