My dream job would be marine biologist. But that's not something you see alot of in the UK.

THIS is NOT my dream job... It's not bad but it definitely isn't a dream. Sometimes I wish it was, then I could wake up and not have to examine some of the reports that I am growing to hate with a passion.

My dream job:
1. Secure, I don't need to worry if the American affiliates that bought us out are trying to shut us down.
2. Profitable, I don't need to worry if I'll have enough money to cover the household expenses and still have enough left to buy some perks.
3. Interesting, something that my current job is (it's not the previous two). I need something to keep my mind engaged.
4. Flexible, something my current job is. If I need to take time off, I can get it without too much hassle, as long as I make sure the other programmer is in.
5. Enjoyable, occassionally my current job meets this criteria, mostly because I work with some great people.

If I had enough money to pay off the house and not have to worry about the other bills I think I could be happy working at a book store.

England and Ireland are island nations. As in, surrounded by the SEA. Why aren't there are lot of marine biologists in the UK?
