Ok, so I live and breathe spidey but I've been getting more and more bored with USM recently. Conversley Ultimate x-men just seems to be getting better and better (although I thought phoenix? kind of sucked but that's just me).Ultimates has always been solid and ultimate fantastic four just sucks. So people what's the best ultimate title available today?

Thoughts?

UFF is good
UXM is better
The Ultimates is the best by a landslide

never read USM

1. The Ultimates - Great artwork from Hitch and Widescreen action driven stories from Miller

2. Ultimate Spider-Man - Whatever your opinion on Bendis, you can't help but admit at how well he writes Spider-Man, plus Bagley is the best artist in Marvel and was born to draw Spidey

That's it. I'd don't buy any more.

I never said I didn't like Bendis, I love bendis, he got me back into DD and for powers alone the man deserves to have a solid gold statue of himelf errected on the moon but spiderman just doesn't grab me anymore. I didn't really get into the silver-sable arc and the deadpool stories just sucked, liked ultimate morbius though so I'm looking forward to the clone saga! But it can't be deined that Ultimate x-men has been consistently good if not better than USM.

With regards ultiamte fantastic four, just couldn't get into it. The thing I always liked about the four is that they were just like the family down the road (albeit with super powers) just not gett that from ultimate...

And before anyone says it I know that is the central point of the four...so why can't ultimate sell that concept to me.

ultimate spiderman is my favorite!!...

Ultimate xmen is really sucking right now...but im still gonna pick it up cuz its gonna be better once oliver stops drawing it

Ultimates and Ultimate FF are superior.

USM is my favorite at the moment. Ultimates is taking waaay too long to wrap up this arc if ask me. UFF is doing a great job too.

Ultimates always takes Waaaaay to long to wrap up an arc. :)

My main problem with ultimate spidey is that it keeps getting completely taken over by other books. I mean take the sinister six arc. This should have been one of the most important story arcs and yet the first half of it doesn't even feature spidey. It's an ultimates story. Another example of this is the deadpool arc, that was basically an ultimate x-men arc.

When they actually focus on spidey e.g. morbius it's great

I don't mind guest stars but at the end of the day I buy USM for spidey, period

Ultimate Six was a good story.

yes it was a good story but it's a good ultimates story and it's supposed to be a spidey book

The only one I pick up is Ultimate FF and sometimes Ultimate X-Men.

I pick Ultimates up in TBP form.

Ultimates, I just wish there were more than like 4 issues a year

I get all the Ultimate books though, and while FF is getting a lot better, Spidey and X-men are starting to stink it up.

Surely you jest.

Good as far as Ultimate crossovers go,which isn't all that amazing.

:o Uttimates i liked Ult. x better for mabye an arc

right now I'm enjoying USM a lot more. that's probably because, in contrast with current 616 Spidey, USM is f***in genius

The Ultimates used to be my favourite, but Millar's been shamelessly hammering his political beliefs down our throats since the beggining of Ultimates 2 (and I'm anti-Bush). it was there in the first volume, a little more hidden, but now it's just ridiculous. the lateness of the book also takes a lot from the enjoyment, since I have to go back and read the previous issue just to remember what the hell happened.

Ultimate Spiderman. It's the only one I read regularly.

I am picking up the current UFF arc though, and one issue in, I love it.
