Which Ultimate characters are better versions than their 616 counterparts?

More powers doesn't make Super-Skrull better, it just makes him more of a deus ex machina against whom believable victories are harder to obtain. After Annihilation, I wouldn't trade 616 Super-Skrull for anything.

He was kinda noble in YA also as I recall. He's grown as a character, as did most in Annihilation. They made use of old, in some cases discarded characters and made them into what they are now. Workable, useful and of course good for sales. Although i've always like gamora, drax and adam warlock. In the Ultimate Universe the characters are prats who happen to sell. Xavier is still cool though.

And I realise that I spent most of my words not discussing the Ultimate Uni, which makes it off topic so I apologise for that.

My rule of thumb for any forum is pretty much "You haven't done anything wrong until a mod bans you."

Once, but it was an accident. They were trying to ban someone who copied my name almost exactly, but it turned out it was someone I worked with at the university, so they couldn't ban him without banning other university IPs or something. So I was banned for like five minutes until a mod reinstated me and explained the deal.

Venom until Ultimates 3, Shocker for the sole purpose that 616 Shocker was always just a c-list villain with no real character, and Ultimate Shocker at least brings some entertainment value, and although I wouldnt go so far as to say he's better, I found Ultimate Sinister quite interesting, but we'll see how that plays out in the Ultimate Apocalypse arc...
