Hawaii is important strategically.

That tropical paradise is alot more vital to America's national security and foreign interest than whatever $#!#hole Session was spawned from.

How about economically too?

I'm extremely certain that Hawaii earns more annually than Alabama through vacationers and Honeymooners alone.

Yup.

Hawaii ranks 8th in household median income.

Alabama is 46th. :lmao:

It does speak volumes.

Based on his tweets, I suspect someone showed Trump the Gangland episode of MS 13.

On awarding a wounded soldier his Purple Heart he "Congratulated" him

It shows 45 still sees the Purple Heart as something people want to get. When people get one you thank them for there service and sacrifices, you don't treat it like they won a prize.

And yet he still gets support from veteran group. One has to wonder what Trump did for them to make them think he cares about their needs.

America first, that's what he said.

This week is going to be positively fascinating. Trump is threatening GOP House members with primaries if they don't support his plans, and is holding the current people on Medicaid hostage if the Democrats don't work with him.

Also, what is the chance of Trump vetoing a budget bill that doesn't have funding for his precious wall?

So, we could have a government shutdown this Sat while he is having a rally. I wonder if the government shutdowns, he isn't allowed to go to Mar-a-lago?

It would be unreal if the government shut down with the same Party controlling every branch. If such happens, you gotta think someone in the Republican Party will call for votes of no confidence against Ryan and McConnell.

Ryan likely already has his head on a chopping block, like Boehner. Elections have consequences, and this is what happens when you elect the crazies. McConnell at least has his caucus in line, for the most part.

He became a republican. That's unfortunately enough for some soldiers to support him or trust him.

I was watching Bill Maher this past week, and he was reading stats on people's Democrats and Republicans reaction to the same situations or actions for Obama and Trump. And while Democrats changed very little, Republicans changed a ton in favorite of Trump. Including Syria. Alas, the false equivalence.

the above pictures

really puts things into perspective

I want to toss in a joke, but Trump leaves his wife behind a lot. Like he thinks it's the staffs job to open doors for her, or keep her company. She may not be a saint, and I may not know much about how they act behind closed doors, but you need to treat your lady better.

It could very well be a pic taken out of context, and isn't important politically. I just happen to be the type who likes to hold doors open for strangers. So it irks me a bit to see him constantly leave his wife behind.

Paul Ryan needs to go, so I hope so. He's shown himself to be a phony (soup kitchen incident), and a hypocrite (draws from Dad's SS to go to college, wants it gone for everyone else). Now he doesn't even try to hide it. He helps lay out a healthcare plan that's very anti-poor, and even skipped out on a town hall meeting with his constituents to meet with donors. I'm not fond of McConell either, but I'd settle for seeing Ryan get the boot.

Just make sure that you don't take your morning coffee while reading this ---that's if you don't get headache.

You'all got an emotional toddler pressing the red button on the 'football' mistaking it for a TV remote.:o Or more accurately, a serial liar, narcissistic, sexual deviant, on-the-record racist and psychopath whom the 'Guv'ment' will take order from.

John Oliver's segment on Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner was good.
