Been following AmDrag for 8 years now, and while I loved watching his ROH matches against Morishima, KENTA and McGuinness live, nothing really compares to the overall work he's doing now as a wrestler and a character. Dude's become the total package, and not many people can say that.

Very few can be say that and very few people can be on Austin/Hogan/Rock level of overness. And of all the people to do that, it's the 5'10 "vanilla midget" from Aberdeen, WA.

I always figured Bryan would fill the Benoit position. Constant figure, go to guy to test new upcoming wrestlers, sometimes challenge for the title when there is a gap between main eventers, short title run that would never leave much of a mark outside of the win, etc.

Boy, were we wrong. And all because WWE keeps trying to keep him down the fans keep pulling him up.

It was the night after Wrestlemania 28 that really signaled that. He has gotten so over and put on a platform that WWE did not want, nor did they plan on. Like you said, the Benoit position is what I think all of us where expecting.
