Who will replace Biden?

I honestly don't care who runs anymore, I'm just afraid this will give Trump another boost. They will need to announce his replacement right quick to settle things down.

Speaker Johnson has already threatened legal action over this, so SCOTUS may ultimately decide this election.

Don’t think it will be a boost. Trump & co all wanted Biden and now it gets a little less predictable for them.

I just don't want this to be yet another gift for Trump. :(

And if they liked this change there would be no need to threaten anything.

I’m so pissed right now, I despise the elites and MSM who did this.

I’m voting for whoever is at the top of the ticket.

So they still have your vote and open it up to people who didn't want a zombie? How is that bad for their chances of winning exactly?

The debate was a gift for Trump, and the assassination attempt would have helped his chances too. This undoes part of the recent campaign damage and requires a new plan of attack from them. Kamala is 22 years younger so much of the previous strategy won’t work.

It's this infighting that worries me. We need to be solid behind a good candidate right now.

This is the problem. A lot of the Biden talk seemed to revolve around party elites trying to push their own pet candidate. It needs to be Harris. And open convention is going to cause rifts. As much as the Bernie bro stuff was amplified beyond the actual effect (though even that small amount was enough to shift some states, imo), a fight at the convention would be worse.

Its going to be Harris/Buttigieg, isn't it?

I love you bro, but calling an older man who is slowing down and already has a speech impediment a “zombie” is a bit harsh.

But I get where you are coming from.

If they're concerned about the elderly vote for Biden and white vote than they should pick someone like Minnesota Governor Tim Walz for Vice President. He's done more than a fine job in Minnesota. He's 60 he just looks older.

On the other hand people would be whining about his age if he ever ran for president after a Harris administration.

I do think Kamala is probably the best choice, but I've heard Hillary as VP is tracking well against Trump. I hope the bigger fight is over VP and not Kamala.

Stacey Abrams should throw her hat in the ring. She's neo liberal chocolate. :o
