I am trying not to get to caught up in this, the last 48 hours have been incredible to watch and experience, while i dont typically believe polls, it nice to see Harris leading in almost all the polls now, and the money she has raised in 24 hours, i read is something like $250 Million, $81 Million in 24 hours with 60% of that being first time donors, thats incredibl.
Read this morning, she will announce her VP on August 7th during a virtual delegate roll call before the convention, as she has secured 98% of the delegates needed to be the parties nominee, only 54 undecideds left, getting endorsments from virtually every democrat has helped and the massive ground swell of support coming from all over the country, especially black women is encouraging, i havent seen this sort of support from the black community since Obama and he won big in both elections. That said, remember, in 2016 Trump won by winning the electorial college, he lost the popular vote to Hillary by 3 million people, they are still focused on the electorial college, they arent concerned with the popular vote, so swing states like Michigan and Pennsylvania are incredible important, Harris will need every state she can get, thus her VP pick has to be someone that can give her an edge in those states, even though Trump was beating Biden in those states, i would be curious if those numbers have changes with Kamala as the nominee
