On clothing and "female empowerment":

I tell ya, many women are their own harshest critic. I have no qualms with how other women dress, nor do I care about their reasons for doing so. Wanna rock your hijab? Do it. Wanna wear your spray-on hot pants? Do the dang thing. Sari? No problem. T-Shirts and jeans type of chick? Me too!

I haven't seen a thread on the growing number of guys wearing tight-ass T-Shirts and balls bearing lyrca jeans. And neither do I see male flashers like, Omarion or Steve-O used as the representative of men in general. But I digress.

If some women really cared about their standing in this society they wouldn't be b*tching at each other in typical drone fashion, about what each other is wearing. Trying their best to kick down other females in order to gain brownie points from the males. As long as a woman dresses appropriately for her job, you have no say in how she dresses in her personal life. Instead the feminazi should be demanding and finding ways to receive more than 77 cents for every dollar their male counterparts make. Y'know, something more worthy of their fire and brimstone.

G-d, I honestly can't get over how comfortable people are using entertainers like the Pussycat dolls are used as a representative of today's women. I bet that in their personal lives those girls wear more than what they do in those videos and that they are quite intelligent. It's called entertainment. If you believe that is is an accurate reflection of reality, and if you can't understand that sex sells (for all genders) then your have no place in any discussion about women's empowerment.

You know, when my girlfriend and I first started going out, she wouldn't let me open doors for her, or carry stuff, or open and close the car door for her, or walk her to her car. Her reply was always "I can do it myself."

Sadly, I'm talking about those terms as words of endearment Like, instead of "what's up, friend?" (yeah I know no one says that, but you see my point haha) some women literally now say "what's up, *****?"

There are plenty of songs where "*****" is supposed to be acceptable....like that old Ja Rule song "Down Ass *****" and Busta Rhymes "I Love My *****." I think it's horrible.
