As I am a HUGE fan of Sophia Bush, raspy is a-ok by me...not chainsmoker raspy but there is just something sexy about a slightly raspy voice from a woman...and I'd go with jag, it's not so much raspy as it is "smokey" (like a good scotch )

Its what the voices say to me. THough a raspier voice is usually better than a high pitched ear tearing initiator. I just hate when the person i'm stalking hears my name and screams directly into the ear piece. Seriously I'm right outside their house they don't need to scream at all.

I'm sorry to report this, but i do not personally have a raspy voice so I cannot relate to this topic. If anything I've been told my voice sounds like a high pitched chipmunk-like Japanese schoolgirl's voice.
