I think that's a definite possibility, or at least something along those lines as that fits with how 3XK was first introduced.

They did the same with hunt, yet he's popped up again... The episode with the 3XK (who I still believe was the homeless dude at the start of that episode) was basically just a reminder to us that he's still out there somewhere....

Pi was just there for comic relief and Alexis made a comment early on how Castle had Beckett and that she wanted to find someone too. I was waiting for some weird Father/Daughter conversations where we find out that Alexis only liked Pi because he was good in bed or something. lol

Fun episode, I knew Matilda from somewhere else and I knew Rob Estes was guilty of something!

I liked the end scene between Castle and Beckett, talking things out like real people instead of her holding in whatever bothered her when she tried on the dress. It was sweetly done.

It almost looked like she was having second thoughts about the wedding and then she talks to Castle and it's all good. And the second she walked out in that dress you knew it would be her wedding dress.

I was worried for a sec. But then they talked it out and I went "Yay! The Wedding is still on!".

So they lost the venue. They'll probably end up having the reception at the police precinct because they want something simple. I also thought that maybe she would want to postpone it. But that would just be frustrating for viewers.

It's going to be just like the Lois & Clark season finale where Clark marries Lois but she turns out to be a clone who eats frogs and it all ends up frustrating everyone for another half a season or more until the proper thing. Then they'll end up having a simple wedding minus all the trappings at the precinct.

Or they elope and skip all this mess. Although I doubt she'd elope and have that wedding dress. It's much too good to waste on something like that.

Why can't they just have the wedding? If the 4XK killer wants to kidnap her, let her be kidnapped later when they're married. It doesn't prolong the suspense or drama after a while. It just gets annoying having all these things frustrating them.

Why does that have to be ruined too? Let them have both the wedding and honeymoon, but the 4XK killer can strike when they're buying a new house or something.

I also just thought that the Lois & Clark clone saga might not be that far fetched in Castle. He had those other doubles created of Espo and Lanie. Maybe he'll have one replace Beckett at the wedding while he kidnaps the real one.

I have never seen this preview before, but it's a great coincidence that me and the wife just watched Carrie (2013) last night and we both enjoy Castle.

I won't spoil the surprise for her, but I'm sure she'll find the next episode interesting.
