Hope they slowly bring in the idea that Kate's been continuing her investigation with Rick's permission, otherwise it'll feel too abrupt, a bit like the poorly created tension last season.

Thanks, ideal title that brings up so many possibilities, I still fancy 3XK to show up but maybe the focus will be solely on the wedding with the twist being that it actually goes off happily in the end.

Agreed. I don't want a Lois & Clark styled wedding where everything is drawn out. I feel that show jumped the shark then, and I don't want any shark-jumping moments with Castle.

That was a funny episode this week. It was great how the whole precinct was dressed up as the 70s. Espo and Ryan as Starksy and Hutch were fun too. There was also a bald guy in a Kojak outfit sucking a lollipop.

Hilarious episode, gotta wonder if it's a final guffaw before the final, more serious, plot Arc starts... Stana, Molly, Tamala and Penny looked great in their 70's get up.... And was that Jenny at the end?

Someone just pointed it out to me, when Beckett is on the phone to castle before the 'pretence' goes down... Stana is holding the iPhone upside down... D'Oh!

Just a flat out fun ep! They did such a great job of taking a silly concept and not only mining it for nostalgia and homages but even weaving an interesting little case into it, Ryan and Espo were pure gold.
