Firefly's Fillion Moves into Castle

Which episode just aired last week? Was it episode 4? If so, there must be something in episode 5 that causes them to bite the bullet and get married in the near future.

Next week's episode is Castle somehow ending up in a world where he and Beckett never met...

So any good theories on what happened to Castle at the start of the year? Considering they brought up 3XK I didn't think it would be him, but maybe a double bluff?

The next episodes is 6.

Oh God yes!!! :wow: :hubba :hrt:

I wasn't a fan of what they did with this episode at all, very anti climactic. I mean all of that elseworlds nonsense to come to the realization that Castle and Beckett are better together than if they'd never met? REALLY? We didn't need that to get to the wedding that was shoehorned in at the end.

The actual scene itself was nicely acted by Fillion and Stana but that backdrop looked so fake and why were Espo, Ryan and Lanie not there?

Overall it felt like they reacted to the negative feedback to last seasons finale and just decided to get the wedding over and done with after all the build leading to a bait and switch last time.

That was perfect.

Only one complaint about that Castle episode; horrible, horrible CGI

The backdrop at the end was rather.... Obvious, but I liked the episode and while I agree that there were a few missing faces at the wedding, it was a nice scene.

The backdrop was so, so bad. But I love what they did with the actual ceremony. It is where the wedding was always heading. It wasn't about anyone but them. They struggled for so long to have this big, elaborate wedding with all these guest and expectations. It was great to see them just take the plunge.

I would have had Espo and Ryan there, but other then that, very good. The rest of the episodes was so-so outside of Alexis with dark hair and Castle's general reaction to his predicament.

So, the show had Ninjas, Superheroes, working laser weapons, Time Travel, high tech cloaking technology, and now parallel universes. I wonder what other crazy stuff we'll see before this show ends.

It was as I predicted. A footnote at the end of an episode just like the proper wedding in Lois and Clark. In that one too, Lois & Clark got married in a fantasy place with a fake backdrop and most people were missing.

I thought that there would be this alternate reality episode, then another episode dedicated to the wedding, and THEN the cowboy honeymoon episode.

Surely they could've had Espo, Ryan and Lanie there, and maybe Captain Gates. At least those first three though. How much more budget would it have been to have three extra people in the scene?

Where this show is going, they won't need roads. :cwink:

"It says here I jumped on a macy's parade float and sang let it go with idina menzel and landed a hot air balloon naked in central park? I didn't do these things guys. Come on, I would never sing let it go as a duet"

This is gonna be fun. :D

That might have been my favourite episode ever! :hrt: :funny: So much fun! :D

Really fun episode with the right kind of humor. That showdown at the end was hilarious lol.

That was an Awesome episode!:hubba at Stana especially in the black outfit.

The fun is back... Been missing the carefree castle fun that this episode had. This season has been a little too serious IMHO and it's great to see them letting loose a bit.

I like that the guys and Lanie weren't too pleased about being left out, though I think they kinda glossed over that fact for humour as the episode went along. Nice to see Gates being.... Human.

Next episode looks good

Fun episode this week. I can completely understand why Espo, Ryan and Lanie would be mad though. Even if it were spontaneous, they could have still invited them. How long does it take to call them and tell them to get over to the Hamptons (or Castle could've flown them there)? I still don't know why the writers chose to leave them out.

Stana in the black outfit was sexy, but so was the white dress at the end. It did look like the Universal backlot set though.

For a sec I thought Caste was gonna win the shoot-out. I expected him to have some hidden skills like he did when he was fencing.

Honestly, I thought the same thing. Caste clearly has a lot of hidden talents. We already know he's really good with a gun and seeing how he loves to dress up and stuff, I wouldn't have been surprised if he was capable of "playing" cowboy.
