First Avenger FIRST AVENGER to feature Hydra? Invaders?

well we dont know for sure if hydra or invaders will end up being in the film really. At most i could see maybe union jack characters others not so much.

we have know its due to start in june for months now, as to that whole jan thing it was probably for crew folks getting things set up and ready to go and all that. As for filming i will probably be mostly done in marvel studios cali studio space, and then will probably move to a few other locations for certain scenes and all that.

The core Invaders aren't an especially "international" group; there's a bunch of Americans (counting the Torch), an Atlantean who they don't have the rights to, and two Brits.

Union Jack is the most obvious choice for inclusion (I'd like them to allude to Lord Jack's WWI exploits as an inspiration for both Cap and the Skull). No one here has mentioned Spitfire, though, the other international member; she has what is probably the most "out-there" powerset of the characters mentioned, but she's also a woman, which probably counts in her favour, given the limited opportunities for female roles in this movie.

IIRC Hydra really came about after WWII and originated in Japan. Skull instructed Van Strucker to travel to the east and meet up with Hydra.

I can't remember if AIM was around in the WWII time frame, but that would be a good org to use for the main global threat under Skull's direction (some dooms day device or working on a SSS for the Reich... with Baron Zemo in the mix).

Throw in Winter Soldier (Bucky) too. Young and impulsive new member of The Invaders. He'd probably be the Meyers to Cap's Hellboy. Not to say I'd go in this direction but it seems like it'd be the logical narrative choice if they went with the Invaders.
