Days of Future Past First Class or Deathly Hallows Part 2

Deathly Hallows for me as well.

(First Class being my second favorite)

I can't vote, I've only seen one of these and don't plan on seeing the other one any time soon.

Seen Deathly Hallows twice already.

Seen First Class 6 times.

Hmmm. ;)

I don't even have to see Deathly Hallows to know that it's X-Men: First Class. The Harry Potter films are nice and all, but they never really did it for me.

I've yet to see First Class, while I have seen DHpt2. But that'll change this next week when I go to see Cap, X-Men, and Bridesmaids.

Strange comparison but I have to go with XFC. I'm not a huge Harry Potter fan, I like the books and movies just fine but the whole thing ending had no impact on me. As far as movies go DH2 was spectacular for action and SFX but it had so few character moments, I didn't even care when any of the major characters died because they didn't give any time for it (then again, neither did the books really). The movie really relied on the audience's pre-emotional investment on that front and for many people it worked (more than half of the big group I went with cried at least once). For me it was fun to watch but not something I had any "feelings" about one way or the other.

Except the epilogue. Hated the cheesiness of it in the book, hated it even more in the movie.

No decision yet but Deathly Hallows Part 2 reminded me of the final battle in X3.

I have yet to see the new Harry Potter movie, mostly cause I am in Guatemala atm...

However, I would prob vote for it over XMFC, even though I loved it.

Geez, god forbid anyone ever mention X3 in a more than negative fashion...

First Class, just on the merit that it's not Harry Potter. It was still a surprisingly good movie though.

No, just, no.
It kinda did. Even Voldy coming up to the edge of the cliff with everyone behind him and saying "They never learn!".

I had an X3 flash back at that very moment.

That didn't even cross my mind until now, but now that you mention it, there are like thousands of those, not even the dressed in black minions but like....

Yeah :awesome:

The only difference is Hp8 was better.

First Class, by a longshot. but the Harry Potter movies have never really done anything for me anyway.

Oh well.

Except that Harry vs Voldemort duel where their powers meet in the middle first happened in Goblet of Fire...which came out in 2005.

Well a tough choice for me but I'll have to give the edge to HP8 after seeing it, loved both though!

Well I was trying to say that there were lots of similarities between the movies, not that in any way X3 invented power confrontation, that honor would probably go to

But you're completely right, HP did it first.
