first how do I use Thunderbird,secondly how do i download vids from youtube?

I"ve been wanting to branch out more by using different applications for communications purposes and I've heard some good things about Firefox's Thunderbird and wanted to try it out. I'm not computer savvy when it comes to the technical details of setting up such an email client, so i was wondeirng if any of you can walk me throughthe process.

Also I've been trying for a very long time to download vids from youtube, using sites and what not and not a single one works. any tips?

First, Thunderbird..
I personally use it to connect to my mailbox using IMAP...
To set a mailbox up, you need the following
USERNAME: this will be like Malice or [email protected]
PASSWORD: you should get this one
MAIL SERVER: mail.somewhere.com

That is typically all you need.
Just have to fill in the blanks basically.

Second, downloading YouTube vids...
You need to find software for that...never done it personally.
