As a youngster, the first sports event I ever saw was in San Francisco, 1992 for the Giants and Cubs. Saw Will Clark live and in person

True, neither of them are my teams but it was cool to be there.

Diamondbacks game sometime in 1998 (which may have been their first season IIRC). Wasn't particularly a fan of the team, just went cause my friend's dad had tickets.

I visited some family in California in 92,so that’s why the Giants were my first game

Earliest game I can remember was France vs Springbok 95 Rugby world cup semi final.

Pretty sure I was 2 at my First Blues Game, Dad has pics somewhere. Back in the day you could skate on the rink before or after the game.

I think it was football, Howard vs Morehouse homecoming game.

Newcastle Utd home game a very long time ago!

I have never seen the live game, I guess, it is awesome but I didn't have an opportunity to attend this. I hope I will have a chance!

It was in September 2009, Yankee Stadium. Mildly chilly, behind right field. Yankees were playing the Red Sox. Playoffs were tingling the air.

Don't remember too much, but there was a drunk Red Sox fan (a woman with a very tiny shirt on) behind me cheering them on, must've been from Boston. She was definitely getting hounded on by some of the male Yankee fans around (deservedly so with her trash talking).

Long story short, it was a bloodbath. Matsui hit a dinger to cement the win making the lead unreachable. That was when I knew it would happen. The Yankees were going to win the World Series.

Fast forward a month later, the Yankees were World Series champions for the 27th time.

My first ever baseball game was a Yankees Red Sox game at the Yankees stadium. I was going to say I thought it was the game you were talking about as it was around that time but in the game I went to the Yankees were losing by quite a lot and came back a bit later on. Does that ring a bell at all? I couldn't believe how good the atmosphere was given that the home team was losing.

I think first game I ever went to either was a Cavs game or Indians game around 97 or 98. Can't remember exactly who the Indians played (Indians won though). Cavs played the Nets, that I remember (Cavs I think lost). There were no Browns, so I had to go to Steelers games. My first football game was Steelers vs Bengals in 98. But, I went to Browns vs Bengals in 99 (Browns lost in last minute), and Browns vs Steelers in Pittsburgh in 99, which the Browns won.

Would have been a Tranmere Rovers game with my dad, about 1981 (aged 6).

Denver Broncos in the 80's at Mile High Stadium.
