First movie you saw in the theater?

It was Hook with Robin Williams, one of the few times I remember vividly of my father, he passed away a few years later. I was only 2 or 3 at that time. He loved Williams so much.

I was like 4 years old, and I remember being freaked out by the Gremlin in the Christmas tree attacking the Mom lol.

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. 4-year-old me was traumatized by the giant bees, lol.

I'm pretty sure it was Disney's The Jungle Book (1967). I was three or four. Don't remember anything about it except being scared by the scene where the snake Kaa hypnotizes Mowgl.

I am pretty sure I seen Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in 1990, my older brother tells me we did, I definitely remember seeing the 2nd one though just a year later in 91, I would have been 5 at that time, cowabunga!

The Empire Strikes Back, 1980. I was 3 years old at the time and don't remember much of the experience of seeing the movie itself at that point, outside of a few key scenes: the probe landing on Hoth, Luke vs. Darth Faker on Dagobah, and Han getting carbonized. It must have made an impression on me even then, though, since that Christmas was when I got the earliest Christmas presents that I remember: the yellow jammies with Vader & the droids on them, and the Kenner figures of Artoo, Threepio and Yoda.

I DO remember from that night, though, me, my older brother and Dad, my Uncle Danny and cousin Nate, my Grandpa AND my uncle Steve all crammed into my Grandpa's mustard-yellow Chrysler to go see it at the Westroads theatre in Omaha which I don't think even exists anymore, and stopping by the nearest Winchell's afterwards.

First movie I can remember seeing in the theater is The Lion King. I bet everyone can guess why I can remember it.

I believe the first movie I saw in theaters was Empire Strikes Back

it was a Disney movie that my folks took me to when I was around 5 or 6, called Lady and the Tramp...

Masters of the Universe.

Front row and Skeletor scared the hell out of me.

I don't remember seeing the movie. I remember waiting in the lobby to go in.

But it was in a little known movie called Return of the Jedi.

My parents raised me right.

I remember about a year or so later, being stuck in traffic somewhere in the Bronx, and my sister and I were getting punchy in the backseat. My mom noticed that that drive-in theater kinda close to where we were stuck in traffic was showing Star Wars. So she was like, "Look kids! Star Wars!" and the two of us were pressed up against the window watching it from the highway. :funny:

We couldn't hear it, and we started moving again a few minutes later, but I still remember that it was the scene where they were in that control room in the Death Star right after the Millenium Falcon was captured.

I'm fairly certain it was Batman Forever, but it may have been Mission: Impossible.

EDIT: Ah, okay, Mission: Impossible came out the year after, so it was definitely Batman Forever.

It might have been either this or Free Willy in 1993. I think I was about 4.

It could've been Raiders Of The Lost Ark or Superman II.

I think it was aladdin or batman returns, I cant quite remember.
