According to the article that pic was posted in, PS3 games WILL come in those wierd blue cases that BR movies ship in. So you get the stupid "blu ray disk" logo up top, then Playstation 3 all along the left hand side.

Look forward to those things on your shelves this christmas.

I prefer the PS2 format over the PS1/3 format. Do they expect people to stack the games with the opening of the case used as the abse? It's much easier to read and identify the "Playstation" name with the PS2 format where it actually, y'know, lines up with the boxart and all that.

Also, the Blu-Ray case is extremely ugly, but has anyone seen the HD-DVD cases? Those might be even worse.

Possible, but highly doubtful. Everything about blu ray that's sony related has been shoving the fact it's blue down our throat. Blue cases, blue promotional material... hell, look at the front of the upcoming sony blu-ray player. Almost all blue (and terrible looking when picturing it among your home theater equipment, at that).
