We need to put your black card on temporary probation until you've had some, and it has to be breaded. That batter has to be so thick, you can't even tell it's fish until you've chewed it a couple times.

Halibut has as much protien as Salmon, around 45g for 6oz portion, with about 3/5 the calories and about 1/4 of the fat.

And, Spoons, you haven't eaten catfish, son? Pathetic! I've line caught my own and cooked it right by the lake. The best! :up: Same goes for trout and steelhead. :up:

Everytime I have the opportunity to eat catfish, it's fried beyond recognition like Terry said :(

Yeah, I've been on a serious fish kick lately. Sole's right up there too.

Just steam that **** with some veggies, a little seasoning, and BAM!!

Oh, man....I love sole. I always have this horrible urge to stuff it with shrimp and crab and load it up with hollendaise sauce, though. :(

I'm not overweight. But my friends all make fun of me because they all have six packs and such. But I work out way more than i used to and i don't eat sugary crap. Also my friends use all kinds of GNC muslce builders and things that screw with your body. So we'll see who's laughing when they have nuts the size of small marbles.
 
I think this society's weight problems stems from the foods that we're creating nowadays. We now have ice cream that basically uses uncooked dough from cookies and cakes as a topping and ingredient. That's pretty disgusting when you think about it, yet it's become a pop culture favorite. I don't know if it's more fattening in its uncooked form or what.
 
I think it's just as fattening uncooked as it is cooked.

I can sympathize. When I was in college ( a very long time ago :csad:) I became obsessed with getting a six pack so I stepped up my exercise regiment, which was already intense. I was working out 3 hours a day, 6 days a week and living on salads and chicken breasts. After a year of this, I still didn't have that washboard and I wasn't willing to endanger my health with diet pills. After that I just had to accept that I was never going to be ready for the Mr. Olympia. :cwink:

Most of the time, it's not actually raw dough. It's made to simulate raw dough. I doubt if you threw it in an oven that you'd end up with cake or cookies.

That **** makes my teeth hurt looking at it.


I swear I used to eat ice cream with all that crap on it all the time...go to the buffet and the make your own sundae bar, and put chocolate chips, sprinkles, fudge, etc. all over it. Nowadays I can barely eat a regular flavor without my teeth erupting in pain. :csad:
