True. But, in the comics. Jay Garrick, the original Flash, is still around and he is supposed to be in his 60's. Also, with a little hair dye and makeup. They can take a few years off of John. Remember, he isn't going to be onscreen long and most of the time. He will be under the mask.

Here is a pic from the Flash tv show pilot. Its where Barry finds his murdered brother (named Jay). Just substitute the red suit to yellow and switch Jon to the body and Reynolds holding him. Perfect.

Thats what I meen.Too much grey on his sides.Barry should be the same age as batman and Superman.He would make a good golden age Flash.

Perhaps Barry's death brings the Heroes to solve it, during which they find Barry figured out Max's plan and was killed, bringing the Heroes to fight a bigger threat.. Brother I and the OMACs.

It's not a bad idea. personally, I'd like to see Barry live until the 2nd or 3rd act to see his relationship with Wally so we'll feel the weight Wally carries becoming his successor, and give the audience some time to really connect with Barry, so his death will have more impact.

I guess, they could kill after a few scenes. I have a question when a hero dies who burys him, other heroes or his secret identities friends and family or his identity outted so everyone is at the funeral?

You gotta keep the identity secret given that a superheros death expectancy is about 6 months to 3 years. You don't wanna be the one that let the cat out of the bag when he comes back to life

wow he would make a great jay garrick! i think reynolds (while a great stand alone flash) is too old to play wally if theres any sort of coming of age story with the flash in this movie. dont hate on me though, i think ryan makes a great flash!

There was a big screen playing outside the church, in the center of metropolis and Luthor was doing fake remorse PR, and the signal cut out and Batman interupted the feed and addressed the crowd live from the Batcave. It was sweet.
