I want to see Flash done right this time. He was ok in the first and made a cameo in the third, but I want to see Flash really fleashed out in this one. He was a 2 dimensional bully in one. I want to see Flash as the guy who not only picks on Peter, but the guy who loves and stands up for Spider-Man at every turn. He is such a great character and I feel he was really neglected last time.

Plus who do you guys want to see play Flash this time around. I though the guy who played him last time looked way too old. But again, I also thought he was ok.

One thing I always loved about Flash in the comic books is that he hates Peter Parker and loves Spider-Man. I would love to see that in the movies if Flash was one of the supporting characters.

He made a cemeo in the 3rd? Where? I must of dozed off at that point.

He was at Harry's funeral. You can see him in the background behind MJ.

It's a 2 hour movie. There's only so many characters you can juggle. Since the reboot takes place entirely in high school he can have a lot more screen time than in the 2002 film, but he definitely shouldn't be a main character. Flash shouldn't be taking away screen time from much more important characters.

I would like for them to emphasize how he is Spider-Man's biggest fan. We need to have a scene where the general public turns on Spidey and Flash is 100% determined that Spider-Man is awesome.

Then he could start the Spider-Man Fan Club.

I'd say Flash is in the top five or so. Peter, Villain, Aunt May, Mary Jane/Gwen, Flash/JJJ. He was a huge part of the high school crowd. I'd rather see him fleshed out before Robbie. Robbie loves Peter and Spider-Man. Flash hated Peter and loved Spider-Man. That is much more dynamic.

I don't know about that. I'd rather just see him give Peter a hard time and then be the first and only person to defend Spider-Man when everyone else thinks he's a menace.

I wouldn't be shocked if they make him Venom lol.

Why? It's not like Raimi is directing and writing again. AW SNAP!

You know. Because he made characters things they weren't. *cough* Sandman Uncle Ben's killer *cough*

Not really. Between Peter's side of the story, the villains side of the story, and all the Spider-Man action, don't be surprised to see Flash get no more than 10 minutes of screen time. Flash will just be a passing reference. "Oh, look that's the bully I have to deal with." "Oh, how Ironic. He's Spider-Man's only fan." That's about it.

I know people want every comic movie to be this three hour epic, but that ain't gonna work. If they go the right route, this one will be at least 120-140 minutes, tops.

I don't think this movie will be over 2 hours.

Flash does need more screen time and more character development. Flash needs to be shown that he's not exactly a bad guy, he's just a bone head who picks on certain people. Obviously, this isn't a movie called, the amazing revelation of Flash Thompson but the characters, story are indeed important and instead of hitting audiences with the standard, cliched stuff, it's time to think and execute more outside the box.
