Font Size Weirdness

Hey all,

So I set the font size online to "Smallest," but for some reason not all of the font has converted. The font I'm typing right now (as I type it) is unusually large, as are thread titles and the font within threads. The strange thing is that everything else is as it should be on this site. I'm having the same problem with my homepage (Yahoo!).

I've never encountered anything like this before. It's...annoying. Does anybody have any idea how to fix this?

What browser are you using? Some browsers let you set default font size and font face that over-rides anything on the web page. Mostly.

Right now I'm using IE. I'm going to try updating it (this is an old version...I just reinstalled XP and drivers today), and I want to download Firefox. I'll see if those work.

I'm still searching for the appropriate settings...

I think browsers are very much a personal choice. I use Seamonkey and Netscape 9.0.5 out of choice. They are both Mozilla based like Firefox 3.0. You will probably have better success when you have IE7 installed. Most sites seem to prefer it over IE6 when the site is built for IE, and Windows Media Player 11 won't work properly without it (the estore part that is).

Well I had the problem with IE7 initially, then with Firefox. I've gotten used to it, though I'll still be fiddling around with it. It only sucks because some sites have this huge font AND the smaller font when I change my settings, and some sites have TINY font due to my settings in addition to this huge font, or JUST tiny font lmao.

Ah well.

what's the zoom level of your page? one time my page looked really wonky and i had inadvertently increased the zoom level. when i put it back at 100% it was fine

When I hold down the Crtl button and move the scroll on the mouse, I can zoom in & out of my browser, making the font increase or decrease.
