This thread is dedicated to Mattel's 5inch basic figure line and for those who like and collect them like myself, to post pics of collections and to also share news on NEW 5in figures coming out like: TWO-FACE, FIREFLY and DEATHSTROKE.

I personally went after this line because i liked it. plus i found the MM figures to be a real hassel to mess with.

I only have the Scarecrow and Joker w/bazooka. I plan on getting a couple of Batmans and the other villians when they come out. Plus i need to get a Ra's Al Ghual figure from the BB line.

There were some Batman figures I liked. I have the, uh, staff strike Batman (maybe it was called?? ), and the 2 Jokers (green jacket and purple jacket). I'm kinda meh about them, but they were one of the few TDK related things that came out around here. I really *really* want that Two-Face figure! I have no idea when it's supposed to be out, but when it is, it shall be mine!! t:t:

At the moment, these figures are the only ones available in my area. I've got the staff strike Batman, Scarecrow, and green jacket Joker. Once I see purple suit Joker, I'll get him.

I got Sonar Wave Batman (hey, I picked it up because I went hunting a week before the toys even came out, but I still found one) Destructo Case Joker, and Scarcrow.

i plan on buying a Batman or 2 this weekend and ordering a Ra's Al Ghual figure from the BB line.

im geting the Stealth Launch Batmobile soon just not sure when.


I really need and want Two-Face. I just wana know when exactly they plan on releasing it. ive heard when the DVD comes out but im not sure.

Just showin' some love for these toys. If I had been 8 years old I'm sure I'd be all over those different colored Batmans and his absolutely insane gadgets that in now way tie to the film.

I don't think that it's a "kiddie" line (and I've heard it referred to that a lot)....at least no more than the Movie Masters. Adding 1 inch and a little more detail to a TOY doesn't make it any less of a TOY.

Rock on, Ice Freeze Battle Gear Batman! ........no clue if that toy exists but it wouldn't be a stretch.

I have Sonic Spy Batman, Staff Strike Batman, two of the more expensive 5 inch Batman figures, I also have grip gear Batman, Scarecrow, Both Jokers, and the Kmart exclusive 3 pack. Can't wait to get Two Face, Deathstroke and Firefly, also I heard something about a swiss blade Joker for the next line.

Personally, I am very grateful that mattel made both the regular 5 inch figs and the mm figs cause the kids can play with the 5 inchers and us collectors can have the mm figs.

I'm imagining myself as a 6 year old kid comparing Movie Master Joker to Basic Joker...
it's still no contest! however with MMs being as rare as they are/were I'm glad the kiddies got their figures. I remember when B'89 came out and at first it was impossible to get a ****ing Batman action figure! I had the Batmobile,Batwing,Joker and I think they even made a Robin figure for the line, but it took me a little while to get my grapple belt Batman.
