Forever Evil

Zod, Grodd, Rogues, Reverse-Flash, and Count Vertigo have been my favorites so far.

They were pretty neat, but I didn't want to pay the extra dollar for them. I got all the standard versions.

So what villains do we have now that may oppose the Crime Syndicate? Just read the Oceanmaster story....

Looks like

Luthor
Black Manta
Oceanmaster
Black Adam
Ras Al Ghul

Anyone else?

Also, of all the Villains Month issues I read, here they are listed from my most liked to my least liked:

Scarecrow
Penguin
Poison Ivy
Two-Face
Riddler
Ocean Master
Killer Croc
Court of Owls
Mr. Freeze
Secret Society
Clayface
Joker
Black Adam
Bane
Black Manta

He was never invited to join the Syndicate, so he decided to try to impress them. He broke up a resistance and reported his deed to the Syndicate but they scoffed him about it (it was apparently a resistance they set up to draw in real resistance and squelch them). Clayface was pretty ticked off and started coming up with plans of his own.

So he could go against the Syndicate, or he could go against Bane and/or Scarecrow, both of which seem to be big Syndicate players (though they are targeting each other).

Nice!

So Batman escaped.....
#2 should have had a little more in it........

Didn't like how easily J Quick dispatched the Titans either......

Loved the look in Luthor's eyes as he realizes how much he misses Superman! LOL

I don't know I thought it had a lot in it. True the Batman reveal was a little disappointing (at least for now) but it worked as he said the others "didn't make it".

J Quick was cool in how he's absolutely ruthless and opposite to the Flash. It was important to establish that.

Luthor establishing his Injustice League is going to continue to be fun.

I guess I didn't like how The Titans just rushed in without a plan.....I know they are young. But Robin?? After all that he's been taught by Batman...?? Well..... I don't know..... SMH

I see your point on J Quick.....he's doing things with speed that Flash is morally incapable of doing......I GUESS WE GET TO SEE JUST HOW POWERFUL THE GOOD HEROES ARE...if they didn't hold back.

How was the Batman thing disappointing to you?:brucebat:

What I meant by that is when the teaser images for Forever Evil showed up people were wondering if that was our "Batman" cause the teaser texts always said the Justice League was dead, that would include Bruce Wayne Batman. Some were wondering if someone else stepped into the costume while he was "gone", IGN wondered if it might Grayson because of his situation.

Guess not.

Grayson back in the suit... even for just this story... would have been awesome.

exactly, but that's ruled out now that Catwoman and Batman have both appeared.

Batman and Catwoman have appeared. Not necessarily Bruce and Selina. Could be J'onn and Courtney, or Clark and Diana.

Honestly no that's not right. Batman (Bruce) was the one who wanted to get Cyborg help after The Grid ripped himself from Victor. Who else would know to go to his father?

As for Catwoman it's definitely Selina because of her one-liner about WD40.

It's the real ones, no doubt.

All of the League would know to go to Vic's father. Vic talks about how he goes to his father for upgrades in Justice League #13 to Flash, it's even possible they all knew about him being anxious about his last lung being removed.

As for Catwoman's one liner, I could see pretty much anyone saying it. All she said was about him bleeding a brand of oil, she didn't seem to say it as a joke.

Also, it wouldn't be much of a twist if it was obviously not Bruce and Selina. I'm not saying it's definitely not Bruce, but both Geoff and David implied it wasn't and we missed a lot of events between Trinity War and Forever Evil.

Diana wouldn't know what WD40 was......can we agree on that?

Now....there may be something with it not being Bruce.....That huge Star Labs door was struck 3 times before it buckled and collapsed.

And there was Batman standing there? Super Strength?

or maybe directional explosives (3 of them?) Hmmmmmmm........:exp:

I just remember the end of Trinity War, of all the leaguers, only Batman was holding on to Victor. He was the one who said he needed help. He's always had the connection with Victor. Why would anyone else dress up like Batman AND take Victor to his father in the Red Room?

And yeah, I wanted to say it before, but not everyone would say that line. WW, no, Star Girl no, Katana, heck no, and on and on.

It's them. I'd bet on it. Johns just didn't want to spoil that they were some of the few who made it out alive...ish.

I went back to look at that Star Labs vault door scene.....hmmmmmmmm.....

The sound effects were not those used for explosions...."BAMM!" "BAMMM!"

The last one "BOOOOM"....that could go either way.......

And there stands someone who appears to be Batman?? Hmmmm......I'm sure that's Catwoman.....but Im not sure about that being Bruce.....Superman or Jonn?

That's the sound of someone striking the door!
