Zod, Grodd, Rogues, Reverse-Flash, and Count Vertigo have been my favorites so far.
it would be pretty cool if Bane ended up breaking Owlmans back
Clayface, though he may stick to the Arkham War storyline.
He was never invited to join the Syndicate, so he decided to try to impress them. He broke up a resistance and reported his deed to the Syndicate but they scoffed him about it (it was apparently a resistance they set up to draw in real resistance and squelch them). Clayface was pretty ticked off and started coming up with plans of his own.
So he could go against the Syndicate, or he could go against Bane and/or Scarecrow, both of which seem to be big Syndicate players (though they are targeting each other).
I don't know I thought it had a lot in it. True the Batman reveal was a little disappointing (at least for now) but it worked as he said the others "didn't make it".
J Quick was cool in how he's absolutely ruthless and opposite to the Flash. It was important to establish that.
Luthor establishing his Injustice League is going to continue to be fun.
Honestly no that's not right. Batman (Bruce) was the one who wanted to get Cyborg help after The Grid ripped himself from Victor. Who else would know to go to his father?
As for Catwoman it's definitely Selina because of her one-liner about WD40.
It's the real ones, no doubt.
I seeWhat I meant by that is when the teaser images for Forever Evil showed up people were wondering if that was our "Batman" cause the teaser texts always said the Justice League was dead, that would include Bruce Wayne Batman. Some were wondering if someone else stepped into the costume while he was "gone", IGN wondered if it might Grayson because of his situation.
Guess not.
All of the League would know to go to Vic's father. Vic talks about how he goes to his father for upgrades in Justice League #13 to Flash, it's even possible they all knew about him being anxious about his last lung being removed.
As for Catwoman's one liner, I could see pretty much anyone saying it. All she said was about him bleeding a brand of oil, she didn't seem to say it as a joke.
Also, it wouldn't be much of a twist if it was obviously not Bruce and Selina. I'm not saying it's definitely not Bruce, but both Geoff and David implied it wasn't and we missed a lot of events between Trinity War and Forever Evil.
I just remember the end of Trinity War, of all the leaguers, only Batman was holding on to Victor. He was the one who said he needed help. He's always had the connection with Victor. Why would anyone else dress up like Batman AND take Victor to his father in the Red Room?
And yeah, I wanted to say it before, but not everyone would say that line. WW, no, Star Girl no, Katana, heck no, and on and on.
It's them. I'd bet on it. Johns just didn't want to spoil that they were some of the few who made it out alive...ish.
